Great point @lindatcross1949. I went to counseling to help with my mental state and it was the best thing I have ever done in this process.3

good morning! i have one last piece of advice before the weekend. I don't much free time on the weekend except to log my meals and exercise.
I think everyone is off to a great start, but always remember, never judge your performance by anyone else. I think the main point to most everyone's posts was to find what works for you. So keep that in mind, that we are all individuals with a common goal, but not everyone's results will be the same. I know I used to get discouraged all the time when someone would mention how much weight they had lost and how many sizes they had gone down. I know they were not trying to make anyone else feel bad, but I couldn't help playing my own tiny violin. I'm very happy for those who are able to change their health for the better and I can do it, too, as long as I keep my head up and remain consistent. That discipline will lead to changes in my own life, and I am glad to see it already has.8 -
Great point! This is not a one size fits all. Happy weekend!4

What a great piece of advice. Focus on your goals- not the successes of others. Thanks5

This has been a great weekly challenge! I knew we’d have a lot of great tips and ideas to share.
Before we close the week and begin a new challenge this Monday, I have a request. Do you have suggestions for future “Sharing Your Wisdom” questions we might address? If you are just starting your healthy journey or are new to My Fitness Pal, what questions do you have or guidance you might need? And if you’ve been here for awhile, what common themes or stumbling blocks do you see on your newsfeed or on the community forums that we might address through a weekly question to this group?
I have a few ideas in mind, but your input is very much appreciated. I can’t guarantee we can cover every suggestion, but I will do my best. I think fairly general questions work best, since more people will have something to say.
Suggestions can be made on this thread, in our Suggestion Box or by messaging me.
Thanks for giving this some thought!

Have picked up so many tips from this thank you everyone! For me mfp has become a way of life, i am a creature of habit lol,I log every single thing by habit, I love routine so automatically do an exercise routine first thing in the morning and am now getting into the habit of walking in the evening before dinner, movement is the key to weight loss and feeling fitter for me, thank you Denise and everyone!!! Great start to the New year!!!4

I found myself looking back and rereading the posts for this challenge, (inspired and helpful one and all). I'm am looking forward to the next challenge. There are real common threads here, some sorrow, pain, failures and more important success. Knowing there others who share these renews my self confidence. How you ask, simply knowing I'm not so odd or different than anyone else. We all need a little reassurance from time to time. So sharing is another tip to success.6

Warm Hugs Sassycookie. The MOST important aspect of this journey for me is finding myself and loving myself no matter the size or shape I may be in. I am an "odd duck" and I have learned to embrace what others have found weird or odd about me. To be honest, I am not sure what makes me "different" nor do I care. I am happy just being me. I do not want to fit a mold that someone else deems worthy. I am loving, kind and I can be funny too. So hats to ALL of us!
I agree that seeing what others have been through does help us push a little harder or even take a step back and reevaluate where we are at.

This is great, @fatbambi2017. We ARE our habits. Creating a set of healthy habits that works for you is life changing. I think 2018 is going to be a great year for you!1 -
We are all unique, even on our journey and learning from one another has been key for me. Putting into practice what I have learned and keeping what works. Self love is very important and I also have learned the hard way not to be so judgmental with others. Kindness has been shown to me so I take the time to be kind and supportive of others.3
