    2018 goals
Actually get down to goal weight
    Make myself a priority

My sister has decided we are all going to take a family vacation together. It's been a few years since we have done that. When we did I had the worst time of my life. I just sucked it up as I had 4 weeks vacation and I gave 1 for the cause. Now I only have 2 weeks vacation I don't want to go and be miserable for a week and be walked all over. I believe I am going to go over to mom's today and tell her count me out. May as well start the year on the right foot.

I'm down 2.5# from my gain over the holidays, but overall, still 9# over my lowest weight last fall. Now that the teenagers have gone back to college, there'll be way less snacks in the house. (Although I may have eaten an entire bag of pepperoncini flavored kettle chips last weekend.)

My son that's still at home loves fish and will even cook for us, so we're planning some healthier meals. I don't eat much of the rice or noodles he prepares, but he doesn't like all of my veggies options, so it works out OK. He does love broccoli though and the bunch we found in the crisper was not green anymore! Have to remember to use up the broccoli first!
