I tried the Carolina gold nuggets and maybe I got a bad batch, but they never popped in the microwave- had to use the oven and even then, some didn't "pop"0

I bought these too. After reading reviews on Amazon, I skipped microwaving them. I bake them at 400 degrees for five minutes. Perfect every time except a couple of times early on when I rushed and skimped on the preheating time.1 -
Awesome thread. I have not tried any in a long time. I do the same with almonds and pepper jack cheese crisps. Whispers is the brand I get a WalMart from time to time.0

I just found these on Amazon in Japan, and it looks like they are pork rinds that need to be deep fried -- do they resemble the microwave type sold in the US? Wondering if I can try that...

the baken-ets ..... ingredients.....fried pork skin, salt yeah lol i eat these everyday this is my only chip like snack , could not do this without them !!!1
