Life is so much more fulfilling when we just keep pushing forward to gain new skills (@craigo3154 flying a drone), and gives us so much more adventure and a few bruises along the way! Keep pushing yourself beyond the same old same old.

@RangerRickL. So true. Continuing pursuit to acquire skills and knowledge is so important.
I am still doing daily German language practice (much greater vocabulary then my daughter now and faster sentence construction, but still not up to the level of fluency I would like - Pimsleur, Duolingo and Tiny Cards). Once german is up to a level I like I will start on either Spanish, Japanese or French. I have a number of languages I would like to learn (you are never too old to start).
To learn to race drones I have had to learn flying skill, race theory, electronics, soldering, optics, radio communication and more.
Here is the video of one of my flights in the forest yesterday (it is pretty sedate, I was getting confidence back, no real high speed moves but keeping well below the canopy - Also trees are unforgiving when you hit them, so you try not to):
(This is the raw feed from my goggles - annoying propeller sound should be removed, if not, please mute).

Back from our road journey and will participate in UAC for the rest of the month.
@RangerRickL Agree 100% - Always great to learn or experience something new!
@craigo3154 Thank you for sharing Craig. Interesting obstacle course and maneuverability challenge...and nice walking trail, as well. Fantastic you are enjoying the sport at competition level! Also, admire your desire for learning languages. Now that we've had occasion to travel, I can finally appreciate how great it might have been to be fluent in the languages for the countries we visited.2 -
Happy equinox! It doesn't feel like Spring, but there are new birds on the feeder and the sun is amazing. If only it would get up to 0°C again! Heck, even -5 would feel good.
When we were kids my brother and I decided that "equinox" meant you had to be half noxious and half nice all day. Have at it!5 -

Yes x 3. Pilates and walking.
Interesting about new birds on the feeders @jugar - recently my normal compliment of great tits, blue tits, marsh tits, robins and woodpeckers has been augmented by a flock of hawfinches, about 10 siskins, bramblings and dunnocks. They are eating faster than I can feed them.
The horses have gone! The owner came this afternoon and led them away (back to the centre I hope) - the older 2 on head collars and the younger one (our interloper) just trotting behind as if butter wouldn't melt. Sorry to see them go for a while, but not sorry to have an end to the visiting. The dogs will be pleased.

Exercise: Yes. (50 min aerobics)
Calories: Yes.
Tracking: Yes.
Tomorrow is an important day here. We call it Newroz in Kurdish which literally means the "New Day". It's basically a day to celebrate the arrival of the spring with a mythical legend attached to it as well as paganic symbolisms such as jumping over a fire. Although nothing specific I'm sure to get a lot of exercise with all the dancing but a possible pass day as well calorie-wise.
Happy equinox to everyone!6 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Yes. Lots of running and walking today. Almost 18k steps
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Yes. Nice deficit today
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

To hit my target for the end of the month I’m planning on upping the time spent exercising, not the intensity. Hope to keep calories in the range they’ve been in the last few days
Happy spring has arrived, another reason to get motivated!

Tracked and exercised today (barn chores and walking) but went over on amount of food. Feeling kind of off so I just rested more and indulged a bit. Hope to be back on form tomorrow!4

Exercise? Yes. We did lots of walking while away, so emphasis today was 30+ minutes on abs, arms, and cardio
Calories? Under by a good margin
Track? Sure did.
Nice to read all of your posts after vacation...it's like coming "home" to UAC!5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, a 60 minute PiYo class in the morning and another 60 minute PiYo class this evening.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes4 -
Yes, yes, and yes! Though it was a more sedentary day at work today, I got in a 25 minute walk.
As for learning new things, I'm addicted. I've been tempted lately to go back to graduate school again. My husband cringes at the idea! I'm on a big history kick in my reading, too. I want to know ALL THE THINGS.5 -
Exercise- Pilates and my pt stuff
Calories - under
Tracked - yes
I love learning new things! Always reading and participating in professional development for teaching. Currently participating in a book club and reading “The Deepest Well” by Nadine Burke Harris about the effects of toxic stress from adverse childhood experiences (aces study) on health. Currently fascinated with developments in Epigenomics.5 -
I have a big audience at a public presentation tomorrow. 80 people are signed up. After the morning activity, it's off to visit my CPA to complete my annual federal and state income tax filings.
My UAC report:
Calories: under by only 100+
Tracking: ok
Exercise: easy day walking. I'll probably do the same tomorrow. My Monday night activity under the influence of my new trainer really pushes me and I need a couple of days to recover before I can do cardio/strength.5 -
@craig3154 thanks for the drone ride!! It was so interesting.2

Yesterday was another pass day. We travelled back from Mesa, AZ with an extremely stressed dog. The journey took just under 6hrs with stops and we were all exhausted by the time we got home.

Yes x3. We took the kids sledding after school but with the warmer weather we’ve been having, the snow has turned too soft to be any good for sliding. We might be getting to the end of sledding season! Did a lower body strength workout for 35 minutes.
Neat video @craigo3154! I noticed my head was moving to dodge trees as I was watching haha.3 -
