Is anyone else having issues with their Fitbit Steps and Activity syncing to Myfitnesspal?

My steps aren't showing up. This started yesterday for me.3

Thank goodness...yes, having same problem. Fitbit is receiving info from MyFitnessPal (i.e. I logged my foods/exercise and that data shows in Fitbit), but my steps are not showing in MyFitnessPal. Have followed instructions twice so far completely disconnecting on phone and on the computer app, it syncs one time and then no more. Very frustrating! Seemed to start yesterday.3

Same issues here, about 2 or 3 days ago, my Fitbit app stopped updating MyFitnessPal app. I have tried everything recommended and so far as of now, it will still not update Very frustrating!0

I had to disconnect Fitbit on the My Fitness Pal website and then reconnect. It appears to be updating my steps on My Fitness Pal now. Possibly related to changing your My Fitness Pal password due to the data breach.0

Thought it was just me.0

I also can’t get mine to work. I’ve reconnected Bluetooth and connection multiple times. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the MFP app several times. I can’t get it to work. Has anyone found a solution?0

I am gonna tell you what I did. I found another app the syncs with Fitbit and MFP. It is called PACER. I used this app to sync with my fitbit then changed my step counter on MFP to the Pacer app and I seem to now be getting steps counted as well as calories counted. Kind of a pain, but it is a way around it that does not cost anything, but your time and trouble.1

The reason is they are doing maintenance and have yet to get it back to syncing with fitbit

Yes I had to to disconnect it through desktop and reconnect it, now its fine.1

Mine still doesn't work.

Seems to me that the sync stopped as soon as we got the security data breach notification.
I reset my password, and disconnected and reconnected my fitbit app.
Still not working.
My guess is that since the Data Breach, fitbit has stopped sending over any sync'ed data.

So glad it’s not just me and yes I agree that it seems to have started after the breech notice went out yesterday.0

I tried the fitbit connection on the web again using the Apps tab.
This time it worked.
Sync'ing now.0 -

Yes, it will work temporarily. Then go back to not working.

Mine stopped syncing Saturday. I've deleted the app, reinstalled it. disconnected my fitbit from my account here, still nothing.

MFP has specifically asked people not to delete and reinstall. It's a known issue and you won't be able to fix it yourself by attempting to reconnect.0 -
Yes and it is driving me absolutely insane!0

same here and its driving me bonkers... GRRRR1
-
Same...seems to have started with the data breach and/or change of password0

I am so pleased I am not the only one. Totally agree its happened since the data breach, yes i also changed my password as recommended. Now I have read this post i will stop reinstalling and hope they fix soon as my net calories are looking so bad.0

Same. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting, but that didn't work. My data from MFP is syncing over to Fitbit, so I guess I'll just use Fitbit's calorie suggestions for the time being0

I had this issue but manage to resolve as above. I disconnected from FitBit on the web dashboard of MFP, then logged out of MFP on my phone (Android). Then changed my password (as I couldn't remember if I had or not after the breach), reconnected fitbit in the dashboard, then logged back in on the phone and so far so good.
I used to use Pacer with my Pebble watch, it's a good fail safe option!
Outside of steps, has anyone found a way to sync exercises from the Fitbit (Ionic) into MFP using a.n.other app e.g. UA Record or a.n.other? On Iphones I could use Apple Health but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent on Android0 -
I am experiencing the same problem. For me it helps to disconnect the Fitbit app from My Fitness Pal and then connect it again. This workaround makes my steps sync one time. I hope it will soon be fixed.0

MFP has specifically asked that people not do this (disconnect and reconnect). It's increasing the load on the systems and you're only achieving a temporary solution.0 -
It needs fixing NOW ... driving me crazy to have not have exercise balance out intake1

Looks like they've fixed it finally. I just looked and today's steps have finally synced up this afternoon.0
-
Yes I think it is fixed now. Mine is now working.0

Mine did sync retro data, which kind of putzed me up because I had manually entered my workout. Dah.0 -

The only way I was able to get mine to sync retroactively was to go to Fitbit's site and manually enter workouts for the two days that didn't sync. As soon as I did that, they updated on MFP. Then I deleted those fake workouts.0
