I spent most of last night actively trying to convince myself not to binge snack, as I was tired and a little emotional. But I kept thinking of my goal and my progress, and feel proud that I ended the evening successfully.4 -
@rianneonamission I'm going to maintain between 128-134 and build definition. I'm nervous but excited! I think my fitness goals will be to do a 1 minute plank (I can do up to 45 seconds now), and do 10 pushups in a row.

Hi, everyone! I just restarted my weight loss journey. I moved from MA to VA last year and, although my lifestyle changed greatly, my eating habits didn’t and I ended up gaining weight! So, my current goal is to get back on track.

Hopped on the scale yesterday for my weekly check in and literally could not believe it (still don't really). What a whoosh! Still not unconvinced it's a fluke - note my much higher moving average, and it also match up with how I've been eating, etc. - but it's a very motivating way to start the month at least!
I've also started the Strong Lifts 5x5 programme with the hubby. That should be interesting! I'm liking the simplicity of it so far, but obviously it's going to get a lot harder, fast.
We'll see what the scales look like next Thursday, and I'll see if I need to adjust my goals from there...2 -

I learned a couple of things recently that have made me accept my weight fluctuations more readily. My menstrual cycle has gotten shorter since I started working out last May. I downloaded an app called Flo a couple of months ago so I wouldn’t be caught by surprise and it asks you to weigh in everyday. Lo and behold I hold 2 -3 pounds of water at ovulation (surprise!) and before my period (no surprise). My recomp is definitely becoming more noticeable. My measurements around my naval have gone significantly down and I’m starting to see muscle definition between my shoulder blades. I still would love to get rid of some body fat around my back/bra area and all around my mid-section at the naval area. Happy Scale says I’m trending 0.34 fat loss. If you say so Happy Scale. Eating at a slight deficit 1400 calories to lose fat and build muscle. Working out 3x week, but hoping for warm weather to increase it 5x. It’s a snow forecast tonight here. Ughh.

I missed checking in at the end of March but here I am for April. I'm back on track running and walking daily and am highly motivated. My youngest son graduates high school at the beginning of June, and am going on a cruise to Alaska at the end of June. It's good to have motivations and goals, but yet the number is not the end...I want to be strong and healthy.

So Wednesday morning I actually hit 140.0 exactly.... and then I picked up my boyfriend's mother from the airport who was laden down with goodies she'd brought back on her trip to England. Managed to stay under calories on Wednesday but yesterday I went with her to do some errands... hellooooo half price Sonic milkshakes (only drank half yesterday sooooo kinda good?) and roast dinner! Gunna be over today as I had the other half of my milkshake and some of the chocolate she brought, but gotta get the goodies out of the house somehow!! Back on track tomorrow and I'm determined to see goal next weigh in day!5 -

Struggles/success: Have gained steadily since Xmas due to surgery in January coupled with my knee injury and constant traveling. As many friends may have noticed, I was totally absent for the last few weeks. Crazy schedule. But now it’s time. I hit the top of my maintenance fluctuation and now it’s time to lose again. I like being at the bottom of my maintenance range. It gives me a little wiggle room. But now I have to be in the losing mindset. We all know the last 10 are the hardest and I am back at them. I’m still suffering with my cold, this sounds pathetic, but it’s been 2 weeks now and I’m still blowing my nose all the time, I’ve had enough!!
This week I’m going to try my very best to eat better, I’ve had chocolate every day this week and that’s no good for me at all!!

I'm moving in the right direction! I had wanted to use average weights from Happy Scale but I took too long off of putting in data for it to be accurate, so it has to be scale weights for this month I think.
This drop is mainly bloat and TOM but it feels good to see a drop. Eating better really has me feeling better as well. While I was off for March, I did start and maintain a pretty consistent yoga practice, so I feel like I did gain some muscle and strength even if my weight shot up. All-in-all I'm feeling good and am glad to be logging and thinking about my food intake again. The weather is starting to smarten up but it's still quite cold and snowy for this time of year. As the weather gets warmer my activity is sure to increase, so I think I've made it through the worst.

Just wanted to share since I've been a bit annoyed/frustrated at my weight saying in the same range for the past couple of months. My gym has a InBody 570 scanner and I just had my second scan last night - first one was back on February 20th of this year. Although my weight ended up being .1 lb higher than my original scan, I've brought my PBF from 31.3% down to 26.4%. I know I shouldn't put too much stock in just the numbers on the scale, but it was nice to have this data to see how my body has changed over the last couple of months.

Hi all. I really need accountability right now so I'm glad you're all here. I got back from a cruise in March and I am really having trouble with sugar. I think I need to not have sugar at all for awhile so I can kill the cravings. I also started swimming laps recently and it's making me super hungry. Aargh ... I need to be consistent with my intake so I can see how many calories I really need with the increased activity. I really want to get to goal and stay there.5 -

I have gone up but I know that this is a sodium high after going out for dinner yesterday and choosing a meaty pizza. My moving average has actually dropped. ToM is due anyday now and I have suffered a lot of bloating in the last few days so a ‘whoosh’ should happen within the next week. Yesterday I weighed in at 162.6 following another bloating spike (164.2 on Mon) and I weighed in at 162 on Saturday so no, I am not worried. Mind you, had I not gotten in to the habit of daily weighing and looking at trends I probably would be very upset.

Well I hit the 140 mark this AM. This week I am definatly feeling more motivated to work out, and stick to my calorie goal. I only got in 1 workout last week, and ate like crap too. I was just exhausted. I don't know if I just needed a refeed & workout break or what. But the Hunger Monster came for a visit and I wanted to eat all the things! And nap, lol. This week I am doing much better. I feel like if I stick with it the rest of the month, my goal of 136 should be achievable! Goodbye 140's!
OH I almost forgot! NSV: I now have the hubby on board with working out with me! Makes it more fun to work out when someone is sharing my pain.

I've been loosening up about my eating lately and I think it's showing a little. I think a half pound down for the month is still pretty good especially since I'm so close to my goal weight, but I'm starting to get skinny fat now so the weight lifting will be increasing in the next couple weeks for sure. Oh and here's an nsv: I didn't have Taco Bell for about a month (up until last Thursday). It used to be a weekly occurrence Next month may be my last month for losing before switching to maintenance and that'll be a weird/new transition for me.
