Insulin Resistance Calculator

I was listening to the Break Nutrition podcast where they were discussing a recent paper evaluating all the various ways to calculate insulin resistance. I think many have heard of the most common - HOMA-IR - and some have heard of QUICKI. However, there are now 2 papers evaluating a total of 8 (I think) different formula and the most accurate ended up being the McAuley Index which utilizes fasting insulin and fasting triglycerides.
Here is a link to the first of the papers - http://care.diabetesjournals.org/content/26/12/3320
Here is the link to the second - https://www.diabetesresearchclinicalpractice.com/article/S0168-8227(17)30914-2/fulltext
Here is a link to a calculator for the McAuley Index. All you need is your fasting insulin and fasting triglycerides to get your risk for insulin resistance.

Finally, here is the link to the podcast for those interested. This is one of the more science heavy podcasts that I listen to, so if you are not a big nerd, it may make your eyes glaze over.

I need to read through this, so I've saved it down. Thanks, as always, @cstehansen - for all of your hard work and dedicated research!0
