I have always found that the toughest distance is from my bed out onto the street...
once I start exercising, it all gets better.

Yesterday my trainer called in sick. So I go to the vice president you know Thursday I am supposed to do the job and I still have had no training. She looks at me and goes "oh no!" I go I am willing to wing it with help. Yep I am winging it today LOL.
Last night my hair dresser is back. So I feel like myself again.
Tonight is swimming I do wish swimming was twice a week like it was years ago.5 -

@RangerRickL. - Motion creates emotion.
Little trick I use is "just 5 minutes". If I don't feel like it, but I know it will be worth it, I commit to only 5 minutes worth (nothing more - set a timer - anyone can do 5 minutes even if they do not feel like it). If I still don't feel like continuing 5 minutes in, I stop. Most times, the first 5 minutes is enough to get over the inertia and lift my mood enough to continue.
@2020pinktogo. Good luck winging it. Sure you will do fine.
@Frens0614. No problems about an early pass day. Great that you tracked anyway.
@lamlam2013. Does not have to be specific exercise. The main thing is 20 mins ACTIVITY (ie. non sedentary). Your lots of errands may be enough to satisfy the 20 mins activity.

@RangerRickL - that picture just about sums up how I used to feel -it takes alot some days to get motivated, but as @craigo3154 said - just give 5 minutes to a certain task. That push is sometimes all you need as once you begin it's easier to stay focused.
It's just actually taking that plunge to start that can sometimes feel hard and out of reach - but that bit of encouragement to just do 5 minutes can help put you in the right mindset.
Done a lot of walking today and a 5K run this morning. The running is getting better now I'm getting back into it, I'm getting quicker not to mention it feels good - painful leg burn, but it's a good pain, lol! No bike ride today unfortunately, just ran out of hours, lol.
I had a bit of a smile to myself today actually as I saw a lady slowly "jogging" nicely dressed with makeup on - in my book if you look pretty after a workout then you haven't done it right! I'm not saying there's anything wrong with how she was presented, but after I've run 5K I'm sweating buckets, not really great if wearing makeup though!
So today - 12.6 miles in total.

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes! Jumped on a stationary bike and pedaled hills for 40 minutes while watching Season 1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I find it easier to stick to my calories and tracking if I pre-log everything the night before. It lets me know if can splurge and have an extra Hershey kiss at the end of the day.

Thank you all! I was finishing up logging food. It was 7:30pm. I only then realised that I had done a lot of errands and stuff but no really useful exercise. Even the errands did not involve much walking or effort. So I put on my rain jacket and headed up into the woods for a good trek, hoping to get in 20 minutes of fast hills. I got back 50 minutes later, soaked and muddy, but so glad you all pushed me out the door. So a good day with 3 x yes.9

I went back and made entries for May 1 and May 2...both of which were pass days. I just don't seem to be able to travel, enjoy my vacation time, be diligent with assuring calorie allowances and logging everything when we're away. I'm one of those who weighs everything in grams when I'm at home...and simply cannot come up with anything more than a bad guesstimate for when we're on the go. I'm have no plans to take a portable food scale with me when we travel! So it goes...I have one pass day left for the month, but that's not a deal breaker. We did very much enjoy our time at Assateague National Seashore and were very busy taking pics of the wildlife AND walking, walking and more WALKING! So I did get my exercise for those first 2 pass days of May.
For today...May 3, I'm back on track.
