Personally, it is motivating to me to see how other people are doing in their journies. So, I thought I would create this discussion space so anyone can post a status, such as "ate really healthy today", "diet not really on point today", "just went for a walk", "didn't work out enough today", "lost 2 pounds"...you get the picture. Anything positive OR negative. Just be supportive of each other!

Since I created this discussion, I will start it off.
Already today I went for a walk and did a 30 minute work out on Daily Burn called Amped Athletics. Being as out of shape as I am, this workout was so hard, but I got through it, so I am proud of that. I am also going on a "easy" hike later this evening. So, lots of exercise today!

Hey Alyssa, great job and thank you for getting this thread started.
I am going to check out the Amped Athletics class. I am slacking this week a little bit on the workouts because I only had to teach two classes - STRONG which is a HIIT/kickboxing class and an indoor cycling class. I am hoping to get some kayaking in this weekend. My week two goal is to do a trail run this week so maybe I will get that in too. Monday is my birthday which means I will be eating ice cream cake... :#:#:#:#

    Taryn,
Happy Birthday! (early). Enjoy the ice cream cake! I hope to get some kayaking in soon as well.

Yesterday I did so well; got a lot of exercise and ate well. Today was the complete opposite; didn't exercise and ate terribly. Oh well, one day at a time.

I only lost 2 pounds from the start of this. Actually that is pretty good considering I am having a hard time keeping in my calorie range most days! Ha! Gives me motivation to hit it harder.

That's awesome - 2 lbs in 2 weeks is actually great! I did terrible over the weekend and was feeling down about it but surprisingly it didn't affect the scale. It's easy to be overly hard on yourself, but like you said - one day at a time! I got a great workout in last night so that made me feel better!
