But we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her!!

142.4 this morning because I tried to finish my 5 pound bag of peppermint yesterday. My poor mouth is suffering for it. The remaining contents of the bag are now in the trash. **sigh**

Have a great Saturday everybody!! Going walking now. Worked out w/our trainer and DDD yesterday. Going to be sore today. She is talking about training for next year's Tough Mudder. EGADS!!!! Must learn to play on monkey bars again!! bwahahahah!

She said Reno...next June or July. I don't know yet if Reno has four different TM's...a 5K, half, full, Killer. Must look into it more. The idea might fade away by next year, but I would love tougher training...I think...yes, she has been going really easy on me since the arthritis report. Must get past that.

Had fun on our walk this morning...met the man-in-charge of the three construction sites we visit on the weekends. Nice guy. The first site he was walking around then about half way through our walk he comes around the corner from one of the sites, stops his truck, and chats with us. So funny. Then as we turned the corner to head to the most recent site there was a guy sitting on his lawn...with a sharp object pointed at a hole in the ground. He was waiting patiently for the gopher that is destroying his lawn to reappear. We chatted for a few mins...learned a lot about gophers and then went on our way. After walking I went to the store and on the way home a gentleman and his son pulled up next to my car and asked if I knew how to get to the high school...I couldn't tell him how to get there (direction dysfunction) so said..."Can you follow me?" He said "Yes." and turned left after me. I had to take him the way we walk to the school which is a bunch of right and left turns but I got them there. That was very unusual!! And now I'm going to read!! Oh, I bought new plants today...Persian Shield...two 4 inch plants. have to find out how not to kill them. They are so pretty!!

    Very pretty, Chris.

And what an odd amusing walk...
    • Was the man at the construction site the same man who's property you were trespassing on - the one we thought would call Shelley to have you arrested and tossed in the clinker?
    • And a guy spearing a poor unsuspecting malicious little gopher?
    • And a poor lost father and son who trustingly followed you in what probably felt like circles to them. That must be where your good karma came from~

    Well...

Okay...yes, but we became really good friends and he let us walk around his buildings. :#

Yes and he was sooo unhappy with this malicious little gopher...he had a trap down in one of Gopher's tunnels...Gopher triggered the trap by filling it with dirt!! Stories so funny, you had to laugh! :D

Bwahahha! I thought really hard about how to get there and couldn't for the life of me do it any other way. Of course, once I had them on school property...I remembered how to get there strait away, what the name of the streets were, and how to get home! :D

The free La Honda Music Faire is this weekend. I always have so much fun and wonder why more people don't take advantage of it. But this year it's overcast outside and DH & I will probably stay inside and cozy with the cats. Homebodies, sigh...

167.0 this morning. Bouncing in the 160's, yay! First time in over a year. :joy:

179.2 this morning. Time for accountability. I need a kick in the butt...Paula, Shelley, Chris. Absolutely the wrong direction and it stops now. No excuses, just a horrible week food and exercise wise. Back on the wagon.

139.6. Thought I was doing well as I tracked every day. Will avoid restaurants where I wind up guesstimating and will stop counting exercise calories as they can be inaccurate.

Kathy and Clara...raise your right hand and repeat three times...I will get back on track, jump back on the wagon, track my food without using exercise points and behave myself in restaurants. Okay now...no more silly shenanigans, my friends, or I'm sending Shelley after you with two pair of handcuffs. <3<3

142.8 this morning at 5:00 a.m. I was pretty good yesterday...Father's Day. Only had four or five bites of my dinner...ugh, ugly...a bit of dessert...a little bit of lemon cake because it was stale. The day was fun with Ronan and the kids and Bean!

Going to walk now. Must try to anyway...have a nasty blister on my toe. Back later.

    Holding at 167.0.

@claram5415 & @KAR1959 - I've finally got my cravings tamped down. Don't know if it will help, but if you want to try, take a couple days and don't add any carbs, and make sure to get enough fats and salt. Fat (especially good ones: olive oil, white meat, nuts, avocado) and protein can kick those craving's buts!

Eggs for breakfast (no toast/potatoes) scrambled in 2Tb olive oil with cheese and/or herbs. Snack on nuts or cheese or peanut butter on celery or cold chicken. No breading on chicken, but skin is good. A big piece of meat and green salad for dinner with an oily salad dressing and avocado.

Don't skimp. Fill yourself up. But don't eat breads, cookies, rice, potatoes etc. anything like that. No fruit for a couple days. This is just for a couple/few days - till you can breath again. See if it helps stop that runaway need to eat. :confounded:

Paula I love the chicken dish. Looks delish!

Chris I raised my hand along with the rest. I have been really good lately. Promise.

149.8 this morning. But in my defense I have been in a jury trial the last two days and we are behind. Could go through this Friday!

Kathy I love the new look. Stick with the program girlfriend! You are looking awesome!

Well to bed with me so I can go sit in the trial tomorrow. Been doing pushups though.

141.6 this morning at 5:00. However...had some peppermint today...DH was driving...so hot outside...felt awful then remembered I still had some peppermint in the glove box. Got me through the ride and then some...now it's back in the glove box. We'll see what tomorrow reads. ugh! My own fault.

We went looking for a new computer chair for me. The one I liked was over $300.00. Couldn't believe it. No new chair for me today! Oh, well.

Folks think it's: Woo Hoo this is great! but that's not what it means. So use Like or Hug or Inspiring or Insightful...DO NOT USE WOO!!! Thank you, I love you all! <3

So does 'Woo means that you think an idea or approach is too good to be true.' mean you think it bogus? a lie? a fairy tale? false? ...or is does it mean WOW! this is great? Now I am confused...

I am confused now myself! I will try not to use it. But to me it means Woo Hoo, wowee great! ;)

149.4 this morning. I need to get to 148 soon. My uncle is visiting tomorrow. So if you do not hear from me this is the reason. And hopefully I will not put on any weight during his visit!

I'm confused too, and we've probably got lots of company.

    166.5, enjoying the trend.
