Welcome to UAC July 2018!
Some of you have been with this challenge for months and some are brand new. This is one of the hardest challenges to stay with throughout the entire month. FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS!! Log every BLT (Bite, Lick, Taste). Stay strong and true to yourself....YOU WILL SUCCEED!!
Please feel free to share as much information as you feel comfortable sharing about yourself with the rest of the group. I look forward to getting to know all of you a little better. GOOD LUCK!

@jugar I've missed you and I've been wanting to share my horse training adventures with you. My granddaughter's "new" old horse, Charlie is doing well. He and I are dancing well together in the round pen.3

July is going to be awesome!!!
I have my first no gi grappling competition (which is also first home town competition) on Sat 7th.
I turn 40 on Friday 20th.
My ankle injury is nearly healed so I can get back into good training routines again.
I have some leave later in the month so can train with the mma boys in the mornings.
We are starting Girls only jiu jitsu classes!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to stick to good nutrition so I can fight in my preferred division for the August competition - and get to my ideal weight finally!!! Then maintain there, not 5 kgs heavier!!!!
And of course I get to play with all my snakes, spiders and seals at work every day!
My new competition gi arrives with my friend - Venum!!!!3 -
Hi I'm Shola. Lost control on my food for the last few months and everything spiraled out of control so hoping this will help me grasp control and be a great platform into accountability and health.
I always wanna be able to take the steps on the underground during rush hour. 😎6 -
Hi I’m Kate. 40 years old. Work and 2 kids. Ready to be “Lean, long, fit and strong”. This is one of my workout mantras- do you all have any? For example if I’m pounding out the last 15 minutes of a jog or walk I’ll repeat it in my head to get through.
I’ve got 20 pounds to lose and ready to be accountable! Happy to join.6 -
Hi everyone! I’m currently in the Summer Sensations challenge, which is a 3-month weight-loss challenge running until towards the end of September, but I wanted something to really push me to stay on track while I’m off work for the next month. I work at Ford and we’re having a 6-week shut down period to retool for the new Escape models, so I need some extra motivation to stay active and on the right track during my down period.
I especially need an extra push when I go on vacation to Universal Studios the second week of July! I’m going to be surrounded by lots of yummy treats and don’t want to overdo it.

Evening! Just found this group, been on MyFitnessPal for a while but never looked in the community section until now.
I started training for my third half-marathon in June, I’m currently on week 4 of my 13 week training schedule. Besides running I’m also a streamer on twitch in my spare time and I enjoy reading, playing video games, and listening to paranormal podcasts 😱
Looking forward to getting to know some new people and to continue my fitness journey!3 -

I am definitely up for this challenge. Having joined a few challenges there rarely seems to be more than a handful that complete them so hopefully different here. I will be wayward on July 7 as it is my birthday and a family day out before both my children leave home so we will be doing it in style.

Hello everyone
A brand spanning new UACer here but im SO ready to immerse myself in this Challenge!
My July plan is:
Monday Weightlifting Class,
Tuesday Dance Class,
Wednesday Bike Ride,
Thursday Walk,
Friday Dance Class,
Saturday Weights, Dance and/or Bike,
Sunday whatever I fancy.
I’ve joined a cycle club and my first ride in years is on Saturday. (Yikes!!)
I’ve found a fab cafe doing delicious lunchtime healthy food.
I’m ready to do this and stop FAFFING ABOUT like I did in June! (...and May...and April...and..)
Thanks for this fab challenge. I’m ready!

Hello all, I am trying to lose weight again after putting all on I had previously lost but it's going so slowly... I need something to kick me into gear!4

Hi all, I'm a veteran UAC member who has been in the winners circle... once! I keep coming back because it's the best challenge on mfp if you are trying to lose weight, maintain, gain, whatever! This will work! Meeting the three goals every day will get you there. So will meeting them most days.
I'm a part-time teacher and student and a mummy to a toddler. School breaks up for summer the 3rd week of July so this should be an OK month for me! (NB it was the school holidays last year when I was in the winners' circle!)
Before June, I'd got in a bit of a rut of making excuses for myself. Life was busy. I couldn't fit it all in. But then when browsing posts I saw one saying "don't dig your own grave with your own knife and fork". It reminded me that I have the power to control this or to hijack it. Thanks to @RangerRickL who let me rejoin in mid June after my little awol sabbatical. Remembering the goal, to be healthy, I have lost 8 pounds in the last 3 weeks and I'm hoping for more in July.

This is my second month. I actually bulked the last challenge and got great results. Now im nearing my competition so i will be in maintenance the first week of this months challenge and then cut.4
