No one here can answer that question. You have to decide what is right for you.

I would suggest reading the keto sub reddit. They have a pretty good FAQ. If you spend some time doing some research I think it will help you decide if keto is right for you.

@doctor_839 Also check some sites like Tuit nutrition she has a very sensible fact based approach IMO. For me it isn't just about weight loss but health benefits. Over to you again!

Like others have said do what is right for you based on research. I want to lose the stubborn remaining weight I have but its more about getting my average blood sugar under 100. In 8 days I'm average 96. This thing works for me.

The glucose readings were what brought me to keto. It quickly brought them down. I used the keto to lose weight, and I am off the diabetes meds. It has just really worked for me too.

It's pretty incredible what it does for diabetics. When I got to 4 days in I had to stop taking my metformin. I had been taking 1000mg twice a day for over 6 years. Sugar was too low with the med + keto. Dumped the metformin for over 2 weeks now and sugar at it's peak went to 136 after a crossfit workout. Average has been 96 each time I test. Can't wait to see my A1C on this.
