Forgot to weigh in....I'm right back to big fat O lost. Scale and I are not speaking at the moment. I log everything from the gum I chewed to the creamer in my coffee. Food scale measuring cups and spoons. I excercise and drink my water. Guess my body is saying your a fat girl I'm not going to make it easy. Damn it..lol
I'm not giving up as I feel so much better than when I started. I'm lifting weights lost 4 inches on my arms. No walker doing treadmill and even battle ropes. So that is a win for me....What I've learned is to keep going no matter if I stumble walk or crawl I will get to my sexy pants!!!4 -

Feeling a little disappointed in my loss. I had gotten used to 4-5 lbs a week. And I didn't cheat! Oh well.

I'm up 4 pounds since last week.
The scale was unkind this morning, but I am not concerned. I've maintained a healthy eating plan and a deliberate caloric deficit sufficient to lose weight, AND I've been to the gym every day since activating my free one-month membership last Tuesday, so five days in a row. I have to say that I really did not want to go yesterday, but I pulled on my exercise clothes and drove to the gym anyway.
Unfortunately, a lot of body parts kind of hurt right now, no doubt the predictable effect of going from couch slug to gym enthusiast, and my feet are really swollen again, a combination of too much standing on them over the weekend's while doing all that batch cooking, the new gym activity, and the weather. This too shall pass.
Although it's hard to describe my grim and dogged determination as enthusiasm, I subscribe to the theory that if you say/write a deluded mantra enough times, you begin to believe it.

Do y'all have any tips on how to drink more water. I'm pretty much stuck at maybe 40oz a day.0

@JennaLynDuncan I keep water next to me all day. You just have to remember to drink it lol. There have been times where I have it right in front of me for 3 hrs and never take a drink. You have to train yourself to do it. I drink one crystal light packet a day, I buy the one with caffeine and drink that in the morning. Hope that helps you1 -
Hi, @JennaLynDuncan.
What I do to drink more water: I keep a water jug and a water glass within arms reach, either on my desk at work, or on the coffee table in the living room, or at the kitchen table. I told myself from the get-go that all I had to do was drink the first glass and after that just keep refilling the glass whenever it was empty (and keep it within reach of course) but not force myself. I could/would just drink if/when thirsty. I didn't think that would work, but it did. I just reached for the glass without noticing. I guess I really was thirsty afterall.
Edited to add: I find I need the glass for this to work. I didn't have the same level of success with a closed water bottle. Maybe there's something about pouring out the water into the clear glass that clicks in my brain as something refreshing.0
