160 today, on an upward bounce because I'd been eating too little and had to remedy that. This isn't a gain, it's just a bounce.

On my way down again soon,
    paula

Chris, it's nice in Half Moon Bay, wink wink nudge nudge...

Chris I think she is trying to tell you something. :)

Paula I love your thinking. Just a bounce. :p;)

147.6 this morning. And I figured out that Rocky is giving my plants to much fertilizer, again. :#

It was a bounce, thanks Shell. Back to 158.7 today.

Chris did not come visit me in Half Moon Bay, I think the wink wink nudge nudge was too subtle.

159 today. Same as last Sunday. Would like a little drop by this Sunday. Going for the burn today, cleaning out the garage. Maybe that'll do the trick and eat up a few calories.

OMG!! Paula, that looks like a long, horrible drive that peppermint won't even help!! And look what 280 does at 92!! An what 92 does across half the state of California! OMG!!! blaat!

140.6 this morning at 5:00. A bit lower that last Saturday. We walked then I did yoga w/DDD and our trainer then DDD, SIL Ronan and I went shoe and purse shopping. DDD for shoes for her new VP position and me for a purse because I haven't had a new one in about five or seven years. Don't know if I like the new one yet. Then we had lunch and then we came home. It was fun.

Going to read now. I think tomorrow is going to be a rest day. We'll see.

Half moon bay sounds delightful. Keep bouncing down Paula! But only downward! :)

Chris hope your new purse is perfect! I do not own one. I am a wallet gal myself.

Went to the second Mamma Mia today. My mother, two granddaughters and DH went with me. Not as good as the first one but it was still fun. Rocky took some stepping stones to the Farmers Market to sale. He sold 10 and a 3 part alligator in a few hours. Not to shabby.

140.6 this morning at 5:00. Bad, bad, bad yesterday. Head straight today. EGADS!!!

Shelley...well, the purse is bigger...which I don't need and has too many zippers. I did find the perfect purse at the shoe store, but it was $90!! Sorry, "nopey, nope," we both said!! However...after I got home with my new purse...I was looking online and found the PERFECT one...so, between what I bought yesterday and purchased online...$90 is just about right!!! :D

Okay...walking w/DH this morning then off to the store for ingred for a new soup. I'll keep you posted!

    I love you guys! <3<3

Visiting my daughter in Louisiana. It’s been hot here and in Texas. 100 degrees at times. Enjoying swimming as much as I can.
Lots of calorie consumption with visiting and traveling but have been using hotel fitness center and did Toy Soldier workout today.
The fires in California are scary. Hope everyone is safe!

The weight above should have read 158.5 (not 148.5).

157 today. Only 10 pounds away from my ideal weight. I mentioned 157 to Derek and it was so surreal, I thought, no that can't be right, it must be 167. So I went and looked at the scale, and no, it was 157. :astonished:

140.6 this morning at 5:00 a.m. Rest day...no walking...no training...we did all work in DDD's 3rd grade classroom to set it up for the sub.

Paula, I have a garage full of chores to do...again. I really dislike going out there. Maybe this week. Tomorrow? hmmm...should write a note to myself.

178.2 this morning. I’m shocked as I haven’t been on a scale for awhile. Wasn’t sure what it would be. I needed a little break from posting and weighing. Work has been very busy. It’s usually mid to late August before I’m overwhelmed but this is probably a carry over from being on sick leave on and off and not having a back up. A lot of things just sat. But now I’m on my regular schedule so I’m using the coping skills that my counselor has suggested to deal with the stress which brings on anxiety. I was stressing because the scale was not moving so I decided to step away for a short time. Can’t stress over both work and my weight.

My guy and I are headed to Longboat Key, Fl today to celebrate his birthday. We will be back Saturday. The beach is exactly what I need. Hopefully, the walks will get my metabolism going again as well as my motivation. I will catch up on your posts as I’m sitting on the beach and Ron’s playing in the water.

Take care ladies. Don’t give up on me. I will get myself together.

NEVER!! KATHY!!! We never give up on our friends....never! Have a great time on your holiday w/your sweet guy and we know you will catch up on everything with no trouble. Send us a pic of the beach, please!

141.2 this morning at 3:30. Walking in 4 mins. Working out around 1:00 w/our trainer. Going to Costco @ 3:00.

Time to quit messing w/the peppermint. Crimeny!!

    Back later.

147.6 yesterday. I forgot to weigh today. Muahaha I am so bad.

Chris I do that. Try to make do with something less costly, does not work. Now I usually just buy the one I like and need. Cheaper that way. I sure hope the new purse fits your needs perfectly. ;)

Love the losses you ladies are making. So inspirational.

My daughter has to have surgery. I will tell you all more about it when I know more. All I know now is it is her ankle.

Hope your daughter is better soon, Shelley!

Kathy, have a wonderful much-needed vacation!

Chris, Deep six the peppermint with the GC's. They look so sweet and innocent, but they are evil! :naughty:

Clara, It looks like all of California is on fire but we are blessedly free of it. Take care!

    158 this morning, bouncing.

Shelley, I hope your daughter gets better fast. I think I'm going to like the newest purse. It is deeper than my old one, but I can deal with it. No place for any peppermint bags tho...

Clara, like Paula, we are not in danger from the fires. They are north and south of us.

Paula, just so you know...there is no change in how much junk is in our three car garage.

141.2 again this morning at 3:30. Walked this morning from 4:30 to 6:00. Picked up the boys at 6:30.

Gave my other large bag of peppermint to my trainer yesterday. I will tell her when I need some for travel. Going to hit Target and Lucky's after the boys are picked up and then I'm going to read until bedtime!!!

    Later,

Making your trainer in charge of the peppermint Chris. Smart idea. That fire is horrid. I am so glad you and Paula are safe from it. I hate fires. The smoke will be coming my way soon. And I like a purse that does not have room for candy! LOL

Thanks Paula and Chris. Her surgery is scheduled for the 3rd of September. Her husband cannot get the time off. But luckily Rocky will be there with her. I am going to just paste the email she sent me for all to read. Much easier that way. This is her answer to me asking if she saw her doctor.

Yep! Went in at 4 yesterday to go over it. I'll get a call sometime today to schedule my surgery. I have torn ligaments on the outside of my ankle that need rebuilt, as well as an osteochondral bone defect on my talus. It's basically because my torn ligaments don't support my ankle, so the cartilage was mostly destroyed by the bones rubbing and my little talus bone has been bruised by my leg bone. So it has to get filed a little bit and then holes drilled in it. That way it will bleed and build scar tissue that will hopefully act as new cartilage and protect it in the future from more rubbing. Then I have to do physical therapy. I could be out of work for up to two weeks and should be healed in 6-8 months. 80% chance I will be good enough to work outside again in the future. So basically, I just want to cry. The surgery should be in 2-3 weeks. Now I just have to wait for the guys to come into work this morning so I can discuss it with them.

She works out in the field a lot. It is what she loves to do. This could be life changing for her. :'(

Worked out this morning. Pushups, burpees, jumping jacks, wall sits, planks, squats, lunges and high knees. Think that was all of them. 25 minutes to run through them twice.

Thanks, Paula. Gave them to DDD last time I got in trouble but she loves me and gave them up...I'm thinking she gave them up to stop my whining...our trainer doesn't care if I whine...she just laughs. :s

Going walking w/DH now. Back later

    157 this morning.

I kept eating a bite and forgetting to eat more, and only had a total of 661 calories for today.

It is so ingrained to stop eating when not hungry, and it is foreign to force myself to eat what feels like a whole bunch of meals that I don't want. It feels wrong. It's not a good feeling.

I need to learn a new frame of mind.
