This month I started working out with a co-worker. Day 3 done.

    177.0 this morning. So I loss 1 pound on vacation. I’ll take it! Starting the challenge today. Working to get out of the 170s this month. August will be better.

    Great goings, Kathy!! Now we just keep heading down...down...down!!

    Walking w/DH then yoga w/DDD and our trainer then I'm going to school w/DDD to help in her and her sub in her classroom. We did get a bunch of stuff done yesterday. No air conditioning, tho....hot, hot, hot!!!

    Gotta run...walk...bwahahahah!

    Paula I bounced today also. Argh! :(

    Went for a walk with my mom and Rocky this morning. My mom started choking and we called 911 for an ambulance. Rocky headed back to the parking lot to meet the paramedics and I followed with the kids. She aspirated but is doing better tonight. They kept her over night. We cancelled the get together we had planned for today. Spent most of the day with her. Scary not being able to breathe good.

    I’ve been traveling then back to work. So just looking at the August challenge. Will see about working this into my exercise routine. Big challenge is eating less but I’m starting a work program called Naturally Slim on the 13th. DH will do it with me so I think it will be good.

    Clara it does help a lot when your partner steps up to the challenge with you. It has helped me a ton! hahah!

    Bouncing is a little ok, Shelley and Paula...just so the scale knows what to do tomorrow. I explained the consequences my scale faces if it decides to go up too much tomorrow because...

    139.6 this morning at 5:00!!! I know it will be up tomorrow because we get up at 3:00 or 3:30, but I'm enjoying 139.6 for the rest of today!!!

    Thanks everyone. My mom was able to come home at around 1100. So we had everyone over and there was a cup signing! We signed the insulated cup from her hospital stay. One little boy stepped in some dog poo. I got him washed up and we went in search of the pile of poo. He was a real trooper. I told him we would know it when we found it because of the foot print. He was so excited. He cracked me up. He was a cousin of one of my granddaughters. We all had a wonderful time.

    155.5 this morning. Going to hit goal (140-145 I think) before Halloween. Cravings are so dead that I have to make myself eat some days.

    Keeping my proteins over 60. Trying to get at least 1000 calories. Net carbs (carb minus fiber) under 50 (thus, no cravings). Need extra salt and water to make up for lost electrolytes.

    Paula, nice going!! I so want to hit 132-135 by Halloween, but it's really tough these days. Getting under 140 is so exciting I do dumb things. I promise not to this time.

    My experience with poop hunts is that you just have to follow the trail backwards, si? Unless of course the poop stuck to the fur and hung onto the cat's but for awhile, in which case there might be a gap in the trail.

    155 Wednesday, down bounce. Wore a trim little skirt and sweater set today. Lots of compliments from people for cute "new" clothes, who don't realize this my old wardrobe that finally fits again.

    Congratulations, Paula!! Way to go! You, too, Kathy! Hanging in is better than going up!

    I don't know what my number was this morning because I hurt too much to remember what I was supposed to do. I had to retrace my steps a couple of times but getting on the scale was not one of the retraces. I switched how I'm taking my pain meds and my hips are killing me. My doctor is so worried about upping my Norco or Tramadol that it's driving me crazy. She had me switch around how I'm taking them but there is still no relief. She is so afraid I'm going to become dependent on them but how do you become dependent on them if they don't do anything for you?
    On a scale of 1 - 10, I'm about a 15!! Plus we didn't walk this morning and that has a lot to do with how I feel. Sorry...just needed to vent a little.

    142.8 this morning at 5:00. Thanks, Paula, well, for one thing, I better stop eating. I sent my doctor a couple of emails. I don't think I'll hear from her until Monday. If she doesn't respond, I'm thinking of switching docs, again. Now, I'm wishing I had given my last doc a chance to help me with this.

    I can smell the smoke in the air. Nasty cloud, couldn't see Mt. Diablo yesterday.

    Walking w/DH this morning. Going to see if DDD want's to come over and work out. Our trainer has gone to her son's wedding in Utah and will be gone until the 15th. She gave me a list of exercises to do, but...

    Had ice cream while watching Black Panther. Yum! and the reason for TOO high!

    Walking w/DH in a bit then lunch w/two friends and, maybe, DDD. Going to Mimi's where they have the world's best muffins the size of a baby's head. Honest, these things are huge! However, I won't be having one. Fell outta my chair when I looked up the nutritional value on one of them...EGADS!!

    A muffin and coffee on the way to work was the lifestyle that put many many pounds on me. Amazing how little benefit we get from all those calories! Nowadays I'd much rather have a big pile of greasy (olive oil) turkey bacon and eggs, much more nutritious and leaving my tummy and taste buds giddily, happily stuffed and satisfied.

    154.5 today. Within ten pounds of my 145+/- goal range. All my clothes fit. It takes no effort to walk now, my body just glides. And frankly, I feel sexy as all get-up.

    I'm going to try to slow down the loss (how's that for an odd statement?) and see if I can hit maintenance. This'll give me a chance to play around with amounts while there's still a little wiggle room. When it's a learned behavior, maybe I'll drop 10-15 more.

    143.6 at 3:30 this morning. Walking w/DH in a few mins then getting the boys for the morning. Trying to think of what to get DDD for her 34th b'day. I was thinking a massage/spa thing for her and her girlfriends. Don't know yet. This b'day will make me twice as old as she is. I was 34 when I had her. :D<3
