Hmm. I'm going in the wrong direction! Bummer! I think I'm eating too much protein! I walked 13 miles yesterday and was HANGRY most of the day! Altho I ate all my regular keto friendly foods, I still ate too many carbs... I certainly won't lose 10 lbs this month like this!!

I was 270 on Saturday morning, but a night of music and drinking with my friends brought that back to 274 this morning. Back at it, though, and I plan on being in the 260s next week. No more concerts til October and December, lol.

I started a Keto diet in July and lost eight pounds. I have a very long way to go for my weight to be in the healthy range. I thought this challenge might help me stay motivated. So, I'm starting August at 348 pounds. I hope to lose 8 more pounds this month.7

Back from vacation and YES I braved the scale today (yikes!!)...of course I indulged and of course I’ll be working hard to see the 20s again since it was very short lived. The real test will be jumping back into Keto tomorrow. I’m prepared and have a few food items to grab and go. I’ll be doing IF this week as well. Keto ON everyone

Hi guys! I was super excited to see less kilos on my scale this morning, that hasn't happened in quite a long time! Loving keto! Beginning of July I had gained 6 lbs in three weeks (!) and am happy to see that within this first week of keto I lost 4lbs.

Hello to everyone new and welcome! Well done for sticking in there to everyone else. We may go up and down with events and holidays but at least we don't give up! Why would you give up on something that works (when you let it!!) and makes you feel good! Happy August everyone and here's to next weigh in; from the woman who is going to a big event of food and wine and other drinks tomorrow!! Still I have until Sunday and I may need it.7

I just gave birth to a handsome baby boy so I'm not as active but this week I plan on doing home workouts & plan on joining a circuit gym training next week2 -
Starting back today to a committed Keto diet. I've been pretty good, but no more taking bites of tortilla chips, non-keto pad thai, no more homemade Maine blueberry pie. Looking to do a fat fast after my guests leave tomorrow. My bizarre Keto accomplishment is that I got my visiting friends on Keto. They've lost almost 12 lbs between them. Why didn't I do it with them? They have two kids and the house was full of tempting treats my pantry hasn't seen the likes of in 5 months. Those little lemon wafers cookies, party mix, tater tots...!!! You get the picture. Let the games begin!!!!4

I was on vacation, so didn't have a starting weight for this week but will on Sunday. I gained about 9 lbs and logged it to keep myself accountable. I know some is water weight. I am annoyed but I expected 10 lbs, so I was mentally prepared lol. I didn't stay Keto, but I DID with water the entire time (except a few drinks one night) and ate what I wanted... but in moderation. Looking forward to getting back "on the wagon" and back to normal. Plus I am getting married in 40 days so that gives me even more motivation!

Not letting me edit my original post. I'm down 4lbs for the week. I was down 6, but went up 2 pounds due to the wife's birthday celebration. Gotta be cleaner this week to make up for it.

I'm a maintainer, maintaining 114 for 3 months now. Keto has been MAGIC for me!!!!! I had given up on losing weight and had almost thrown in the towel. My August goals:
- To sleep 7-8 hours per night
- To exercise 60 mins per day
- To continue to maintain my new weight

You crack me up eggfooyamyam When I look at your profile Pic (keto food pyramid)I don't see any of the above mentioned food. Me thinks you and I have been on a similar diet the last week. Lets make a pact to both attempt a keto clean week. What do you say????

I didn't log over the weekend because I had problems with the app, but I was careful with what I ate and kept it keto. I did have wine, which is always a bit of a hindrance, but it was pinot grigio and it goes so well with seafood at the beach! Still, making progress, and I remembered to measure, so I got that going for me.4 -

My hubby and I started Keto on Sunday . Funny thing my husband will not tell me how much weight he has lost already 5 days in. I’ve been stalled at the 190’s to 188.9 for over a month now . So I have High hope this is going to work. Last my husband lost faster than me and I got so upset I was doing the same hard work he was doing and eating less. Wish me luck my goal is to get out of the 180’s this month6

Weird fact of life, husbands loose weight faster than wives, even if they aren't 'dieting'! Just one of those very annoying things!2

Husbands - not only do they lose weight faster, I'm pretty sure mine gains like an inch of muscle every time he picks up a weight 3 times...meanwhile I'm working for a month or more to try to get 1/4" gain...husbands are the most annoying creatures on the planet...but mostly worth it.

The plan is working, but 10 days in I'm totally still hungry most of the time and I kinda hate it...definitely getting back my 400 more calories a day after August is over...but at least it's worth the effort so far...weight is already down to where I wanted, body fat is almost there, and I'm half way on the waist measurement...and it's very obvious that I don't have a good grasp of how all of these relate because the loss progression is not linear among the 3 stats, which is fine, just need to keep in mind it takes more weight loss to lose inches than I realize.7 -
as a husband, i can tell you its pretty easy for me to lose an amount of weight in short time. much more harder is to put a few pounds of lean mass on!

I think I do need a partner to hold me accountable, so yes, if the offer is still good it's sounds like we both need some help. I'm having a hard time getting back on track. I have been able to maintain by eating low carb but I haven't been in ketosis in well over a month and I'm definitely not loosing. I'm up for a pact!!!!1 -

Good morning my clothes are baggy! Every 20 lbs I lose I'll treat myself to an outfit or two. 2 months ago post pregnancy I was 227 I started IF 18 hours a day with tons of water & two cups of coffee. I keep putting off going to the cricut gym but I have to go it's just a struggle because I'm out of shape.

This week has been really rough. I was told very unexpectedly that my cat is dying, and I am desperately trying to get him to take his meds, eat his food, and decide when it's time to let him go.
Up until yesterday, my food was kinda all over the place, and though I stayed low carb my calories were way over. And I had probably 2 glasses of wine every day for a week.
Yesterday, I finally went stuck to my food plan, went to the gym, and didn't drink. I'm hoping this coming week will be easier emotionally.
