You all love me blowing up the forum with posts, right?

I'm going to try a question for the week again:

    Question for the Week:
Think back to your goals for September. Which goal do you think you made the most progress on, and what did you do that enabled you to make the progress?

Looking forward to hearing what you have to say!

Weigh in Week: September Week 4
    Weigh in Day: Monday
    Previous Weight: 143.3
    Today's Weight: 143.1

@mthomas0228 What a month you've had!!! You're down 4.54% for September!! What is your ultimate goal?

@LesIckaBod My initial goal is 139 lbs, so a little over 4 pounds to go but my ultimate goal is to maintain between 124-129 lbs. Pre-child (she is 12 now) I used to always be between 105-117 but I think as I've gotten older, my face looks too drawn that low. I'm 48 & just under 5'5 in height. But honestly, I'm not too tied to a number, so I'll re-evaluate as I get closer.. there is definitely still a lot of improvement in fat to muscle ratio that I want to accomplish as my main goal.

    Exercised?: Yes (3km in 23mins - hills)
    Calories?: Yes
    Tracked?: Yes

Short walk today, right on dusk.

    Worked from home.

One of the people I raced with Saturday posted on youtube his goggles video of the finals race from the weekend. (I didn't record from mine, probably should have). He finished 3rd, only 2s later than me in a 4 lap race. Was interesting to see how my quad flies from the outside in a race as it was in view for about the 1st 1/2 lap (I usually never get to see it). Also gives a good indication of the pace these races are run at. (I'll post the link if anyone is interested).

    Daily Strength challenge

Challenge for September 24 is lunges ()

    3 sets
    • First set 10 or 15 each leg (if 10 is too easy continue to 15).
    • Second set 6 or 9 each leg.
    • Third set 5 or 8 each leg.

Hey I'm a top loser this week! Hopefully I can keep it up. I was doing really really well and then got a bit off track Sunday. I'm guessing most of what I'm seeing on the scale is water weight (or at least hoping so!)

    September 24
Exercise: 9round after work then an evening walk
    Tracked: Yup!
    Calories: Yes

@inshapeCK. You got it in one.

@LesIckaBod. You are doing an amazing job. Keeping on track, helping others and keeping the administration up to date so the challenge can continue.

    Both awesome and inspiring.

Weigh in Week: September Week 4
    Weigh in Day: Monday
    Previous Weight: 163.4
    Today's Weight: 161.2

That's more like it. Also I think it's a true loss.

Honestly pretty overloaded in my work/personal life right now. Hoping to see things calm down ASAP. But at least I'm staying on track with my tracking and exercise.

@inshapeCK It helped that this week I erased a blip up from the week before. But thank you! I put on the captain's hat because I thought it would help me stay on better track this month, and it's been working! (So thank you all for that, too!)

@craigo3154 Thanks for the kind words! You've done so much here yourself, so count my progress in part as a consequence of your good role modeling -- keeping up with life, work, your weight maintenance, and still finding a way to come back here and help keep us motivated!

@eevang You're coming up on your 1 year anniversary of this weight loss journey, aren't you? (I seem to remember you mentioning October as your starting date). I've only been at this for about 6 months, and I keep wondering where I'll be in 6 months. You're my role model for staying committed to tracking and exercise throughout ups and downs! I'm rooting for you!

So every week I join a work week hustle at work. It started as a friendly reminder to get some steps in but has now escalated into an all out step war! I'm currently out walking trying to get to 25k for the day just to make it to 4th! Should see some nice reasons this week because of it. :D
