Hi Everyone!
Sorry I forgot to put up the August spreadsheet! Please let me know if I ever forget again. Ugh the streak from Feb 2016 is broken! I'm ruined!
But... moving on, the September sheet is ready for sign up. I for one will be using it. I'm gaining weight way too fast. I need to focus on better choices and start exercising. It's hard for me to get back into the habit. I keep going off plan. I'm definitely not doing well with watching my nutrition this time around. If I can gain 0.9 lb/wk instead of 1.5 or more... that would get me a good weight gain.
Goals for the month for me:
1) Reign in the weight gain a bit
2) Use food diary fully, daily
3) Zumba!
4) Deal with boss issues, reduce stress as best possible.

Thanks Katie! I think I would really benefit from the spreadsheet in September and plan to use it.
Goals for the month for me:
1) Actually log my food every day
2) Stay within calorie goal 6 days a week and within maintenance on 7th day
3) Lift weights 3 times per week
4) Walk at least 6000 steps every day0 -
So far so good for both of us! I didn't keep within my calorie goal a couple of days, and likely won't for at least two more days this week. I guess turning 30 is a big deal lol. People keep feeding me.0

Happy 30th birthday @VeryKatie!!
So far I am doing well with goal 1, not so much the others, but I think about themLeo's fudge-bottom peanut butter mousse pie was well worth those ridiculous calories though!

@VeryKatie Happy Birthday! Also, sorry I haven't been around much and didn't cover you for the spreadsheet, I'll make sure I'm around to help out if you need it going forward. But also I thought the sheet that was up was August so clearly I wasn't paying attention. haha Have things improved with your boss at all?
@puffbrat Great goals and awesome job on doing well with your first goal. You've got this!
EDIT: Guess I should add my own goals.
1. Walk 4 times a week for at least 30 minutes
2. Get 10 active minutes each day
3. Lose at least 2 pounds0 -
@WifiresGettingFit my boss is still very up and down with his behaviour. I actually have to have the meeting with him today ugh. I'd really like to not... but I'm also not ok with the same stuff happening during mat leave again. Uggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I don't wanna meeeeetttt..............
Also thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!0 -
@VeryKatie I hope the meeting goes well! That is incredibly awkward and uncomfortable but his behavior is unacceptable.0
-
@puffbrat the meeting went well. He was receptive and I didn't cry. However he didn't get the point that his behavour is inappropriate towards anyone at Hydro, not just me. He kept saying "Well everyone has different sensitivities so I won't do these things around you". Like... no... it's wrong around everyone and directly breaks the no harassment policy. Would you like me to site the specific examples from that policy?
But whatever. I'll leave it with HR at this point now.0 -
@VeryKatie I'm glad the meeting went well, sucks that he isn't getting the point but hopefully HR handles it and you can have peace of mind regarding this crappy situation.0
-
@VeryKatie I'm glad the meeting went well. You are absolutely correct that his behavior toward others is for HR to handle, not you. And good job for not crying! That's hard to do under those circumstances.0

Welp I'm back from vacation. I gained a bit more than I would have liked but not too much more. So I think I can keep things under control still. Just gotta get back at tracking.
I got ANOTHER cough now. I was only cough free for like 2 weeks and then I picked another one up on my trip. Bah.
I'm starting zumba again tomorrow. Hopefully it'll be comfortable and not too hard after not exercising for about 1.5 years.
I did talk to my midwife about the work thing plus some other mental stressors I have in my life. I keep going back and forth, but it sounds like they are totally on board with having me use my sick days at work starting November until I'm on mat leave. So I might not have to see my boss at all again before I'm off work (he's on vacation till Nov 6 and I could have a last day of Nov 2)! I'm struggling feeling guilty and like I'm trying to get out of working but then I also feel stupid stressed pretty often which is no good.0 -

Well here's to a better October1 -
@VeryKatie I'm sorry you have another cough!! That's really annoying. I'm glad to hear about your option with work. That sounds like a great option for you and I think you should take it. Don't feel guilty.
@WifiresGettingFit My October goals will be the same since I pretty well failed at most of them. Here's to a better October for both of us.0 -
@VeryKatie I don't know how I missed that long post but I hope youre feeling better now. I'm sorry work has been so stressful but that sounds like a good plan. Don't feel guilty, your health and your baby's health is what's most important.
@puffbrat It's nice to know I'm not alone haha0
