    Hello everyone,

I am so glad I reached my goals for September. In October, i own it to myself to do more yoga and more cooking. Also more meditating and praying as we get closer to the end of the year.

    Hello everyone,

So my baby has been crawling and stepping so much. Also this is the age where children start to get curious about everything. He is literally touching, grabbing, pilling, climbing on everything. I barwly have time for myself, it is non stop. So I am very thankful for my husband for helping me with the food and everything else especially since i have been sicked mostly due to the facts that i have been eating "bad". Anyway my goals are the same: more yoga, more meditating and a more positive outlook in life. Also we have started trying to conceive for our wnd child so hopefully we will be able to naturally despite my PCOS and Hashimoto issues.

    Update stats:
    SW (06/04/2018): 247.8
    (09/30/2018): 226.3
    (10/07/2018): 229.3
    (10/11/2018): 227.7

    (End of) OCT GW: 220-218

    SW - 209.8 (SW for keto 4/15/18 - 206.8)
    GW - 150
    Goal for October 31 - 172

    Monday, Oct 1 - 177.8
    Sunday, Oct 7 - 174.4

Officially back to keto finally, after 2.5 months of being woefully off and on about it!

How did you get back at it???
I’m having a really hard time keeping motivated. I love keto, and I feel really good when I eat that way, AND I have another 49 Lbs to lose in order to get back to my healthy weight of 140… but I’ve been feeling pretty good about my body since I lost the first 25 lbs, so I slacked off. I’ve been cheating on and off (about once a week I go out of Keto completely) and so my weight has bounced between 187-189 for the past 12 weeks. I know that I need to get serious, but I feel as though… now that the health-related urgency is gone… I just don’t have the same willpower as before. It’s extremely frustrating. I have goals I want to achieve, but I keep putting off a real commitment. I’m running out of ideas on what I can do to get back into the groove of Keto. Do you (or anyone else who might be reading this) have any ideas on how to keep motivated/accountable? Thanks!

Motivation is an illusive thing for me. August of this year I had my 50th Highschool reunion. I can’t think of anything more motivating than that in my lifetime????? However, after August comes September, then October, then the holiday/eating frenzy season. After successfully accomplishing goals to impress my classmates last August, I’ve gained 15 pounds and literally have grown too big for my britches.

I’m thinking I need to quit setting goals that have an end-point, because when I achieve them I seem to let down or back off. I seem to use keto as a diet instead of a way of eating/existing (WOE). I really want to be able to intuitively know what and how much to eat without logging or tracking every morsel I put in my mouth. I honestly think I’m approaching a point where I know enough about keto and myself to do that.

With that said, my goal is to keep tracking/logging through the eating frenzy season with a New Years goal in mind to become more intuitive.

@stormywxs288 That’s an excellent point of view! I think I’ve been doing the same thing as you... Viewing it as a diet instead of a way of life. I’m gonna jump on that idea of yours to try and get in the right head-space and not focus so much on the short term goals. Thanks for the tip!!

15 pounds down, 25 to go! I dropped the half pound early in the week, and was hoping to drop more, but I wasn't able to make it to my muay thai classes this week. Monday it was closed due to the federal holiday, on Wednesday I worked late and one of our pups got sick in the house (she's fine... just a one-time upset stomach), and then Friday was my work's Octoberfest picnic. I ate non-keto at the picnic... two beers (in addition to some wine), and many big handfuls of delicious kettlecorn (popcorn is one thing I really wish was keto!!!), though I did not have buns with my brats. At this rate, I don't think I'll hit 158 by the end of the month like I wanted to, but I will get there at some point.

After a week I have lost 2 pounds. I’m pretty happy since that is a healthy weight loss. I haven’t broken my Keto diet or IF for a week and I’m still going strong. I def. feel less bloated in my tummy area. Here’s to another week :)

Start Weight (May 24,2018) 248.2 lbs

    GW for October 194 lbs.

    Near term goal 179.9 lbs

    October start weight 202 lbs

Sunday 10/7 no access to scale
    Sunday 10/14 200.8 lbs (-1.2)
    Sunday 10/21
    Sunday 10/28

Just got back from my vacation a few days ago and still adjusting to the time difference. I've been feeling a bit under the weather so I have not done much of working out. Vacation was great and celebrating my Birthday with my sisters was the best of all. I stayed on plan with one little unplanned cheat- I had a fresh chocolate pastry at a little cafe, but I enjoyed every single bite. I didn't see much difference on scale the last two weeks but I can definitely tell that my cloths fit a lot looser. In fact, some of my cloths didn't make the trip back because I didn't think I will ever want to wear them again.
No I'm back to - "I have nothing to wear" stage lol

I failed to weigh myself today before coffee and breakfast. I’ve been teetering within the same pound all week (this being the highest). I’ve not started exercising yet, which is my goal. I am below my ultimate goal of 145, so size is what matters now. I’ll get there, I know I will :)

My weight is exactly the same this week, but I am okay with that, as I had half a slice of cake on Friday afternoon, and was over my carbs on Saturday. I was expecting to gain a bit, to be honest. I was out of ketosis on Saturday morning, and again on Sunday morning. I was fat adapted for almost 2 months, so I am hoping to get back into ketosis by the end of the week.

I had adjusted my macros, too. I was 70/20/10, and now am 75/20/5. I'd really like to break 170 by the end of the month (or comfortably button and zip a size 12 jeans)!

@Everyonelies sorry to hear about the disappointment; but sounds like you have had a rough week (due to other issues not related to eating patterns). As mentioned earlier, a pound is a pound. hopefully you feel better this week

@eggfooyamyam thank you for the mug cake recipe (apologies on the tardiness of my reply)
for the almond flour/coconut flour mixture, do you shake it (or do some other form of increasing the chance that as you scoop out the flour that you keep that ratio)?

YAY!!!! Finally!!! I weigh myself compulsively usually every day in the morning and at night and I was getting disappointed because I wasn’t eating perfectly within the ratios this week, but still under ~40 g carbs, and my weight was fluctuating so much this week! But I’m happy I weighed myself today (Saturday was a rough day so Sunday’s weigh in was full of water weight) now that I’m in the 150s, my goal definitely seems more within reach! I know my weight fluctuates a lot, but I can tell my clothes are fitting a little better already. I know with my weight loss that I tend to fluctuate so much, so I want to make sure I stay in the 150s for a while- even if I hang out here around 158 - before I officially can say this is what I weigh. But yay keto! Thank you for paying off!!!! And PS, I am officially back in “healthy” BMI range (which I know that measurement isn’t accurate!!! But I hate going to the doctor and having them tell me I’m “overweight” due to my BMI)!
