Sorry I've been MIA but I've been REAL sick. Started last Monday night & up until this morning I 've been running 103/104 temp. I was just trying to take xtra strength Tylenol & cold showere etc . Well I think I'm allergic to the Tylenol because I broke out in welts the size of nickels ALL over my body. Not my face thank goodness! I think it was wherever was getting to much heat. DH took me to clinic & the guy acted like I had leprosy, had blood drawn, & chest xrays that showed just a little fluid. I hadn't been coughing since I had that bad cold a month ago when we were painting the house so I could see where their could show a little but that little was persistent at keeping my temp up. Got a list of meds for rash & lungs. I picked them up on Fri & started. Got home & read the info & side effects. Well I had to quit the antibiotic yesterday cuz the back of my legs were like tightening up to where I needed to be on tippy toes & if I try to straighten the feel like a cramp is gonna happen. This med is known for tendon rupture & swelling so I called for a replacement this morning. As of right now now "my" temp 96.5 is normal but have the residual headache hanging on & my body & legs are limp noodles. I will get miles when my body's going allow it!1

Been so busy here, I forgot it was a new month... save me a spot!!... I am going to be so busy I won't do anything more than walk from my car to the door every day and then to my desk...We are moving parts from one plant to another.....but I will jump back in at the start of the new year! Plus I will be a first time NEW Grandmother in December!! A Baby Girl!1 So excited!! We have a G-baby from the marriage, that I couldn't love any more, she was 4 when they met and married. But it will be super fantastic to see one from the womb up!! So to speak. LOL Have an awesome month!!

Called the clinic & wanted to talk to "Doug" about how this antibiotic he prescribed me is giving me the muscle tendon side effects that are being warned on the leaflet that come with it but he was off so had to speak to another fill in named "Steve". He said are you sure its not from fevers? These episodes usually happen in athletes & heavy exercises & I said I am a heavy exerciser & lead fitness classes and he said Ohhhh well that changes the story! He then prescribed me amoxicillin. But was told since my legs were doing this to be on the safe side & try to do nothing for ((2 weeks))!! That means I'm done for the month!!!! I have NEVER not completed a challenge & this has me feeling like a failure! Sorry to much whinny. Still running a 100 temp!

I only check this site once a week, so sorry that some of my messages seem like they are late...
@JTH11706 - Glad to hear you were able to run the marathon. Hopefully the medical people near you at the start were watching you in the beginning of the race just to make sure you were ok. :-) And welcome back to Florida. Not sure where you are, but I am in Palm Beach Gardens (south Florida). We have a "cold" front coming in a day or two!! LOL!
@clp212 - Good job with your 10k! I haven't been "running" b/c of my knee in quite a while. This is the time of the year that I have quite a few races. I plan on walking them all and still doing them. I have been close to last before and will be again. I don't care. Still better than doing nothing.
@darkrider42 - Sorry about your son. Hopefully it isn't something that is serious. But now he has to find a new direction for his life and I can't imagine how difficult that would be.
