Rick, I always enjoy opening up a new thread each day to see what you have posted. Thanks so much for everything! I am getting so much out of being here.
Exercise - Yes, including walking from home to our small downtown to watch the Veterans Parade.

Heading to NYC in the morning for a week long conference. I will be living out of a hotel room and eating out all my meals. I hope to start each day with a workout on the hotel treadmill so I think I will be okay on exercise. I am, however, worried about how I will end up handling the food situation as I don't know what to expect.6 -

My dad's birthday was November 11. He has been gone for 8 years. I miss him. It was easy to remember his birthday and Veteran's Day.
My report:
I really miss being able to come home from work and enjoy being outside. It gets so dark and cold at what seems to be such an early hour. I tend to get pretty soft in the winter. I'll be getting up at 4:30 a.m., to go meet with the trainer, Chrissie. She is classified as a professional body builder.
Calories: under by more than 350 cals

Thanks to UAC members and for Ranger Rick's daily words of encouragement. And for everyday I don't meet my calories goal and I am a bit mad about it usually it's actually because I was spending time with family or friends and enjoying a nice wine or meal with them; thanks for that.3 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - only just .... 26 minutes on the mini-trampoline, shorter than what I consider "a session's worth" but not able to get back to it later
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? No - would probably have been ok even with the pizza for supper, but felt sooo sneeze-y and miserable after supper that comfort food happened
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? no - gave up on exact tracking once it was obvious that there was no way of breaking even, assuming I could have mustered the energy for more exercising, which I couldn't.
Slept in late on the 12th (stat holiday for Canadian civil servants as Nov 11 happened to be a Sunday this year) and am feeling less like a full-fledged cold is brewing after all.4 -
