I’m near this dormant volcanic mountain in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. It’s called Mount Hood.

Managed to get a gap in the rain again before going to parents for dinner. Mum made my favourite dessert (pavlova).
Great dinner. They are impressed with my wife's progress.
Home very late, hence the delayed posting.

Early walk. Hard to keep normal pace up.
Managed a walk and a little flying before visiting friends for an early dinner.
Drone race competition tomorrow despite forecast poor weather. Hope the rain holds off for most of the day.

Still off with the flu and on antibiotics. Bit pissed. Was supposed to race tomorrow but it's cancelled for me, third race cancelled in a row between injuries and now the flu. I suppose it will get better.8 -

I spent a lot of my childhood in Portland and we often went to Mt. Hood and to Multnomah Falls. I remember playing on the mountain and having the best snowball fights with my dad! My cousin once caught a fish in his drink when we were on the bridge hiking at the falls. I was 10 years old and thought that was the coolest thing EVER!!
Oh and I did all three today so yes x 3!

I've been so behind this week I don't even remember if it has been 2 or 3 days.
Today has been my first solid yes since I last checked in. Aiming to check in properly from now on4 -
Yes x 3 - had a fantastic workout on and with my horse today. Moving through the snow is great work for him, and keeping him going and on track is great work for me. He is a lovely beast. Tried a new bridle today and it looks like it will work much better than what we were using before.
And walked up and down our crazy hill too.3 -

Busy day today, including a kids birthday party in the morning and supper over the fire pit with friends. Lots of opportunity to blow my calories but managed to make good choices. Didn’t get in the walk/run I was hoping for this afternoon so I had to get in some cardio after we got the kids tucked in. Usually that’s when we are winding down on the couch or in bed, so it was not the funnest to be starting a burpee challenge haha. But I got in my 20 minutes!5

Yes x 3 today. Dinner with friend and a glass of wine made it much closer to my calorie allowance than normal, but I made it!2

I spent most of the day refreshing my legal skills regarding the laws of the taxation of charitable gifting. I have an interesting opportunity on Monday in Pittsburgh and I need to be fluent in that area of my expertise.
