NEWCOMERS! If you are new and want to join in, by all means do! We love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Life time goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh ins: What days you will weigh in, for example; Fridays
1/4/19 = (Fill out after each weigh in.)

    My goal this month is of course weight loss, but also reducing my sugar intake. After the holidays, my sweet tooth is out of control! I haven’t participated in a challenge or even tracked for a couple months, but I’m pleased that my weight pretty much stayed the same. A year ago I would have been a free for all gain. Mentally I’m in a great place right now! Cheers to 2019!

    @mrs_c_getsfit Yep! 2019 is going to be the year that it is going to happen! Congrats on being able to stay relatively the same weight throughout the holiday season too! That is no small victory!

    Wow. So closing on a house and moving takes a lot of work. December flew by without me logging anything really. My husband and I are almost back into the swing of things. I've meal prepped for the entire week including lunch and dinner. We're stopping by the store tonight so I can but stuff to make breakfast for the rest of the week. My main goal right now is to just start eating healthier, get back into exercising after my MCL tear (almost completely healed now), and lose about 30lbs as quickly and safely as possible so we can start ttc again. I want to weigh at least 250 before we start again. 2018 we had no luck ttc even with fertility medication.

    OK that's a good start, only 2lbs of holiday weight to lose so I'm pretty happy. In previous years I've gained like 14lbs over the holidays and not been able to get back into routine and given up. This time however I only super over the top on Christmas day and New Year's eve hehe.

    It's awesome to see some new faces too!

    @BrownieKitty12345 I feel your pain about moving house. I was doing very well around 5 years ago and a move just pooped on everything! Well done for getting ready for a great new year :D

    Oh, and one of my holiday gifts was a copy of the "Atomic Habits." If you want to read something with practical application to changing behaviors around eating, you might give it a try!
