I got going on my mini-trampoline .... switched over to a Netflix documentary ... when that was done, switched back and "spent my accumulated points". 13988 steps / 308 calories / 91 minutes later .......on top of the 166 calories from my two 7 minute HIIT sessions ..... and it is almost too late for an evening snack ....4

I've had to reset this month. Due to a surprise back problem in my lumbar spine, I have dedicated myself to learning about the spine. Turns out that our spine, the musculature; ligaments; tendons; and even the fascia of our core is fascinating!!
Now, I know that 68 years of doing more slouching than good posture takes a toll. Bending forward and then lifting a load is a lumbar no-no. My NSV is discovering how to gain core strength and to begin changing my behaviors to use 'core bracing' and avoiding doing 'dumb things' that contribute to my lumbar vulnerability. I can't undo 68 years of taking my back for granted, but I am focused on using the next 3 months to change my habits.
I'm excited to do what I need to do so that I can ride horses this coming summer.
My report for today is Yes x 3.8 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes!
Since losing and keeping off almost 50 lbs, I've had quite a few NSVs -- going from large/XL to XS/small shirts and dresses; losing an insane amount of inches (I should have taken measurements); having to get my wedding ring resized; increased energy and stamina; no more knee pain when I workout; finding out I could run and running three half-marathons; getting so strong I could sign up for my first Spartan race in November -- I'm sure there's more, but these are the top ones for sure!7 -

A great NSV I’m enjoying is less cravings. I eat almost no sugar (none added) and I don’t crave sweets, chocolate or other things like I used to. My body is enjoying the nutrition I’m giving it6 -
Yes x3. So fun to read all the NSVs! Mine is making better choices to eat quality food rather than wasting my calories satisfying my sweet tooth. And starting to see definition in my arms again.6

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes, barely
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep, even the M&M fun size I accidentally ate.
My NSV....I wish I could say clothes and energy, etc. I would say it's that eating veggies and much lower carbs has become way more natural to me. I'm used to having to grocery shop more often (even 2x week) to keep fresh veggies on hand. I even consider it a "treat" to buy prepped veggies. Tonights dinner was cauliflower hash + eggs + ham. Easy & filling!5 -
Wow, looking forward to reading the nsv's this month!

@zorrocat Your occasional mini-indulgences of Hershey's Kisses make me smile. My DH used to keep a big container of them across the street at his place of business. I very much disliked the little tin foil balls that seemed to be left everywhere except in the trash can.1

Planned pass day . Holiday party at work, but ate sensibly and exercised, couldn't track.
