Yes x 3 for Friday
I have a late NSV! recovery is taking longer than expected. I've lost muscle tone during this time, and gained a few pounds back, which has really brought me down.
I'm going on a cruise next week, and I've been dreading clothes packing. 3 months ago I tossed my fatter baggy clothes... and now that I've gained some back, I've been kicking myself, thinking that they were the only thing I'd be able to wear next week.
Tonight I tried on a few dresses that I wasn't able to fit into last summer. They totally fit me now! I realized I didn't gain back nearly as much as I've lost. This is a temporary blip, in the grand scheme of things I'm on the right path. Gonna wear my dresses and look good on that cruise12 -

Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - lots "left in the pot" again today
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
What a trip down "memory lane"! I tuned into a virtual run along the Thames Embankment in London, England (from Tower Bridge along the North Side, past the memorial to the Battle of Britain and across the river at Westminster / Big Ben. Then down the South Side, past the Globe Theatre, and crossed over again at Tower Bridge.
The real kicker was ... the starting spot was where I had actually been standing in June 2018, waiting on our Hop On Hop Off River cruise boat transfer (going the other way towards Greenwich), and today's run headed off right beside a statute we have a photo of .... we never crossed to the south side on our visit, but we sailed past it all! We eventually left the boat at Westminster / Big Ben, and also have a photo of the memorial to the Battle of Britain we took on the way back to Somerset House.
Tomorrow, Paris!6 -

Yes x3 today but close on calories. Glad I had exercise calories to spare from a half hour kickboxing video I did this afternoon.
So thankful to be part of this team. You guys motivate me to stay on track.6 -

Same virtual reality jog along the Thames River I enjoyed a couple of days ago. We, too, were in London in June 2018, and many of the sites along the route were "oh so familiar!"3 -

@RangerRickL Thank you and that is a great quote! Slow progress is still progress : ) One day at a time for me. I don't know how many other people in here are needing to lose weight versus those that are maintaining weight or those that are intense athletes. I am in the need to lose weight group, and it's definitely one day at a time, and trial and error for me at the moment. But I am glad for this group.
