Sorry about the bad steps, I will be getting on the treadmill before I leave work today. Its been so busy. I had to leave work early to take my dog to the vet for her ears, also about a lump on her thigh. Vet thinks it may be cancer :( so now I have to decide what to do as she is 11 1/2 years old and has a hard time moving and is starting to go blind.

Hey steppers, a question. What's your high water mark on steps (number) and what did you do that day to rack up that number of steps? Fitbit-free folks want to know.

2/20/19 20782 steps. I ran as usual 7 km and walked around 8 km. I had a 20k on 19th February also but it hurt my legs doing it back to back. My comfort zone is 13-18 k.

@mulecanter--I wish you had told me the appendix was so light before I had mine removed! I guess it's not the best weight loss technique! On the otherhand, the appetite killing anti-biotic appears to have worked pretty well in that respect!

Well my husband may start getting mad at me, since I feel the need to keep buying fitness books :D I bought womens health's "Little book of exercises" a while ago, I like it but wish I had gotten the big one. So I ordered Men Health's "big book of exercises" because reviews say its the exact same as the womens one, but the workout in the back of the mens is geared towards building muscle vs the womens has a lot of cardio workouts (plus my husband may like it). Then I ordered the "Big book of yoga" because the yoga class I was going to was not at a good time, and was geared towards older ladies (half the class is 70+). Then today Im looking on amazon and another womens health one pops up and its "fitness fix) and it has a lot of workouts that requires minimal equipment. mainly dumbbells, so can do them at work, or when we go to visit family in Idaho in the summer (thats where I usually fall off the wagon because I cant really eat well, and not much there for workouts, and its in the middle of the mountains, and I dont want to be eaten by a bear while running)
