This is a bit off topic, but can we talk about perimenopausal hair texture?

I'm 44 and experiencing cycle irregularities that I believe are perimenopause. In the past five years my hair has turned to straw. I don't know what to do with it. Does anyone have a solution for this? Thanks

Mine is very dry naturally and has just gotten more dry as I get older...I condition my hair every day, but only shampoo it about once a week, and even then, I put conditioner on first, add a bit of water, and then add the shampoo, rinse and condition as usual...that seems to help...switching to a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner may help.0

I do a coconut oil massage very couple of weeks. Leaving it in over night. Soft hair lasts quite a while. And the massage while relaxing is nice. I put in some essential oils occasionally also. Enjoy0

My hair was feeling coarse, dry and just bleh...I've been adding jojoba oil when I condition my hair in the morning. I rinse it out w the conditioner, it's made a difference for me.0
