I was meant to go for a beach run tonight. I chickened out and spent time on the exercise bike instead. It’s not beach weather ... really, it isn’t
I raced last night ... 445th out of 457. I was running well and one of my team had an asthma attack. I stayed with her until it was clear she couldn’t continue. As we were coming to the end of the first lap she encouraged me to run on ... which I did once I knew we were close to the finish funnel and I knew she’d be fine2 -
