Been ill for most of this week so I'm proud of myself that I managed to stick to my calories every day but one (and that was under maintenance).
Hopefully a better week to come. Looking forward to reaching 171lb when I get to scarf down my Easter egg. Yum.1 -
Hello all, trust you are all well and enjoyed the Easter break
Well "Madame Scales" was moved around the bathroom floor a number of times but that lady was not for turning and so with a combination of Easter , some alcohol , some chocolate and not much exercise I have had a gain. In fairness I rounded up the quarter pound to 1 pound (thought as I started measuring like this to round down, however helpful, was not right, can't remember what last week was) so suspect the gain is less than I think but still frustrating when a different part of the bathroom floor, standing on one leg, holding my stomach in, thinking “thin” thoughts does not yield the desired result. Guess could have been worse as still in the 14 stone (just) club…

Thursday’s are my normal weigh in but I’m headed out of town on vacation for a few days. I’m very happy with this loss. I added in a lot more strength training using a women’s workout app, and I feel really good. I hope to stay faithful to my eating habits on vacay. Thank you. If I find some scales I will weigh in, but otherwise I will weigh in on my return. This will be my first holiday where I intend to keep to my calorie goal, so it will be interesting to see if I can estimate my calories.

Forgot to weigh in last week. I was busy with getting ready for Easter. And this week has been a struggle to stop indulging in all the Easter candy. Also have been battling a cold this week. Looking forward to getting to more goals in May. Also ty @tinkerbellang83 for posting about only losing 2lbs per month when closer to goal. This is something that really messes with my mind because I want to be able to lose 2lbs a week still. But for me that's too hard to maintain long-term and I end up overeating again. I'm going to change my goals for May to being more realistic for the long-term.1 -

I would honestly not worry about the scale whilst you're away. If you're flying/eating differently/drinking/etc you're likely to experience slightly higher water weight fluctuations than normal and you won't get any real idea about what your weight is doing.1 -
