IT SADDENS ME TO TELL YOU THAT MOM DIED TODAY @1230 HRS PDT....
MY FAMILY AND I WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE WORKOUT WARRIORS AS A TEAM FOR
ALL OF THE WELL WISHES AND SUPPORT DURING THIS TIME.
SHE DIED PEACEFULLY WITHOUT PAIN AND WE WERE ABLE TO BE WITH HER AT THAT MOMENT. SHE JUST SLIP QUIETLY OVER THE RAINBOW AND NOW IS WITH DAD, FRED AND MANY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS THAT HAVE DIED BEFORE HER.
ON A MORE PRIVATE NOTE TO YOU MY TEAM OF WARRIORS I THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE FOR ME AND THE SUPPORT THAT YOU HAVE SHOWED ME.
GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.
GREG
I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts, Greg. I know this has been a difficult time for all of you. I hope you are able to find yourself some peace in the hectic days ahead.

While it not the end of this months challenge it is the end of the month and I’m checking in with how I did with my goals. I made my weight loss goal for the month and beat it by three pounds! I didn’t do as well with my step goal, but I’m still working on it. I’m more active overall and am going to make a more achievable step goal for next month. My ability to stand has improved and I can now stand long enough to make an omelette or wash a load of dishes without trouble. Overall I’m really happy with my progress and I’m looking forward to what I can accomplish next month.4

I'm sure your captains will be reminding you again, but
MAY registration is OPEN!- If you are continuing and have been weighing in and all, you do NOTHING. You will automatically be added to the May team. Keep posting here until Sunday, then head over to the May thread.
- If you want to leave, change teams, or want to be on the support team (no weigh-ins, but you can still participate in challenges and chat), let your team captains know as soon as possible.
- Please share the May registration link on any message boards or anywhere else you post - invite new members you think would enjoy this challenge: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10741448/may-fat2fit-weight-loss-challenge-and-support-group-registration-page#latest

Good Afternoon Fat2Fit Challengers
As you all may or may not know, our own Greg ( @navydaddjtc ) lost his mother after a long and difficult illness. In a show of support and to help let Greg know he has our support and is in our thoughts - I ask that each of us pause for a moment of reflection and then post a heart or a rose on the Workout Warriors Team Thread or in your own thread with Greg (@Navydaddjtc) tagged in the message...
Let's help share in his loss and help him through these difficult times...!

Greg, I am so very sorry for your loss. There's never anyone like your mother. I'd like to think ours are sharing coffee somewhere today.
Love and prayers, Mel
