small loss but I'm still happy with it. Dropped another clothing size so I know something is deffinitely working. now comfortably in a size 12 and have purged by 14's (pants only) I still wear the large tops but now everyone is commenting on how I'm swimming in the tops so I will go to Value Village and grab a few Mediums...eek

Had a great week keeping carbs below 20g and managing cravings. The Happy Scale app I downloaded recently has helped me deal with day-to-day weight fluctuations and more realistic goal setting. Today it predicts that I'll be at 200 lbs. on June 2, and I'm fine with that. I also added my BMI stats to track my progress in stages from Class III Super Obese to normal weight range. I'll always remember how devastating it was to see myself first described as obese at a health care visit some 30 years ago. I know it's not the most accurate measure of fitness, but the medical terminology is just ugly.
Have a spectacular week, and keep on keeping on, everyone!6 -

I haven't been, but I know that I need to. I know for a fact that I'm losing inches because my pants are looser and my boobs are actually fitting in my bra again LOL Thanks for the push to take my measurements, I needed it!0 -

Another small loss but I'm still happy with it. At least I am consistent and have learned lots so now I don't even notice when I am making choices until other people point it out to me. Took my mom out for lunch and I ordered my cobb salad with chicken, no corn and dressing on the side without even looking at the menu...she was very proud of me

@goldengirl111 not typically; however, you can try it and see if they impact you. or know that you are using your carb allotment for the day (or two) with a small amount of food. i would recommend holding off on them until you have been hard at it, meaning <= 20g carbs, for at least 2 weeks (this should get you through the initial adaptation phase and allow you to start feeling more in your body on if you _need_ those). if you do, that is fine; just be aware of the carb counts and how little you eat. fruits & veggies are truly something that is personal; i know for me, i do not feel as well when i eat them (other than as a spice/flavor to my meal)0

Just started Keto yesterday, however, I'm not really sure I understand it. I comprehend I need to cut carbs down to about 20 gs, but when I make up my daily menu, to keep it at that limit, I'm consuming less than 500 calories daily. That can't be good, can it? Also, I read, that I need to keep my protein level reasonable, but how do I figure out how much I should be eating? Also, it says to eat more fat, but can one eat too much?, the last thing I need is clogged arteries. I'm 65, weigh about 250 and spend most of my day in bed or a wheelchair. Any suggestions on daily diet plans would be really helpful.2

Hi!
Watch as much videos on youtube as you can: Dr. Berg's 'Healthy Keto Basics' and his other videos, Keto Connect has great videos too. Websites to check out(recipes and other info): The Savory Tooth, Wholesome Yum, I breathe I'm hungry, Low carb maven and the diet doctor... you want to set macros(percentage of protein, fats, carbs and calories) to do that watch the video 'Keto Macros Lesson(long version), hopefully that will help2 -

Yay...down 6.2lbs in 4 weeks! While I’d hoped to see “one-derland” by the end of May, I’m really happy with my progress and nearly effortless ability to stay on track with the keto/LCHF/carnivore WOE. Really, what’s the rush to goal weight? I’ll be enjoying this WOE and its many benefits for the rest of my life, right?
Have a spectacular week, everyone, and let’s make choices that support the life we’re trying to create!6 -
