I didn’t manage to post here last week. It’s like I am constantly busy and when I do sit down I just want to switch off; I’m not entirely sure whether I’m coming or going. Mind you, I am keeping up the exercise, I am eating (fairly) well. Just putting it all down on here is challenging.
Last week my weigh ins were awful. I was so very bloated from TOM (a full week late) and one or two sodium bombs that everything went up last week. Back down to more normal levels now though and no more bloat!
I will try to get back to individual responses soon.

As I suspected this past weekend stopped my progress dead in its tracks. At least I didn't go up. I have been watching my eating and exercising this week so maybe I will see a difference next week.

I'm so glad I found this thread again. It's been almost TWO YEARs since I have been on this thread consistently. I lost nearly 30lbs by doing these check ins here and tracking on MFP. I was able to maintain at around 155lb for about a year, and in this last year I have gained it alllll back and some. Instead of getting frustrated about it any further. I've decided to get back on this thread and do what worked for me the first time. Track and stay accountable.

Not what I hoped for but, honestly, what I expected. Last night was my son's 18th birthday so we went out to dinner with all the trimmings. All things considered, 1 lb on the morning after is probably not as bad as it could have been. Lots of water and salad for me today. LOL3 -

Not the weigh in I wanted this morning, but I'm still working at it. I recently stopped using NuvaRing and dealing with TOM for the first time in 5-6 years. I've hit 144 twice since the last weigh in and haven't been above 146 so I feel like it's just slow slow progress in the right direction. I'm really watching to make sure my average caloric intake stays at 1200 or below - it's got to work sooner or later.

So since starting Keto, I am slowly losing the last bit. I ran the 10k on the 19th and recovery was amazing. I didn't burn out and I am ready to run again!!
My belly is shrinking!! I noticed when I was sitting down, I have lose skin around there. It looks a bit bumpy. I am in search of tightening cream or oil. The Nivea CoQ10 doesn't seem to be doing much after 2 bottles. Do you have any suggestions?? 🤷♀️1 -

8th May: 189, I think when I weighed myself at 194 it was a lot of water weight. I feel like only 1 pound is actually real, but we will see when I weigh again tomorrow! I'm counting this as a win.
15th May:187- it was actually 186.9 but I rounded up. I feel like it's progress. I normally fall off the wagon after five pounds so I must stay focused.
22nd May: This was a sad day, I went up a pound. 188, a little depressing. I definitely loosened up the diet--hoping I can recover by the 29th! 185 would be so great.

Was carrying some serious bloat from our craft beer pub crawl on Sunday so yesterday's weigh in was a little high, but this morning I was down to 164.4. In fact, Sunday morning I weighed in at 163.6 so I am not worried. No idea how next week will pan out as on Sunday we are going to a local ale and cider festival with some friends. The goal is definitely not happening, but I'll be happy with anything between 163 & 164 next week to be honest.

Happy with this. Had one day where I ate over 2,600 calories, so glad I didnt go up from that. Also changed my height to 5'4" after measuring myself first time in years. Might have to adjust my calories and goals not sure yet.

Keto is working! Slowly but YES! Ran my first 10K last weekend and I didn't burn out, recovery was easy peasy! I started to lose belly and now I see saggy skin around there... Need firming lotion. Nivea Skin firming and toning isn't working... (2nd bottle) Do you have any suggestions?🤷♂️2 -
Happy Friday everyone! It’s definitely been an adjustment going grocery shopping since I started tracking again. Avoiding all my favorite cheeses and baked goods is going to take some getting used to. I forgot how challenging it is to resist temptation early on. But I’m fighting! And looking for alternatives to satisfy my cravings for sweets!

I decided not to long over the holiday weekend because I wanted to enjoy my vacation. I’m not at the point yet where I can restrict as easily over holiday. It was a great weekend and I’m glad I didn’t put too much thought into what I ate even though my weight is back up one pound. But I’m also happy to be back to logging today. I have several workouts scheduled for this week-and yesterday was my first workout class in months! Feeling sore today but feeling strong.

Good grief - I've decided that I'm jinxed on Wed. Yesterday I was at 144.0 and bounced right back up this morning - I was really excited thinking I might be at 143 but nope! I don't log my exercise on here because it's mostly around the barn working with horses. LOTS of walking and stuff like that. On the plus side, the scale hasn't hit anything over 146 in a few weeks. Thinking about June goals and considering starting another accountability thread.

New June thread is open for business!
Beer festival was fab! Didn’t cause too much damage but yesterday (official weigh in day) was bloat central and sore as a result (seriously, cramps!). This morning? 163lbs. Yes!
I did lose my phone/had it stolen at the festival, hence me posting a day late. Only got a new phone yesterday and spent all my free time in the day calling and visiting places to see if my original phone had turned up. Such a nightmare.

Not the 5lbs I was looking for but I consider 3 lbs a win for the month. Honestly, I know I need to do better with my eating. I still have more bad days high in calories/fat than good days where I am under my goals for the day but, again, the fact that I had good days this month that were at or under my calorie goal, I consider a win. I know I only started 10 days ago but I’m frustrated for not getting to my goal. Usually when I start this process (and I have too many times before) I’m able to drop weight rather quickly initially. Feeling kinda disappointed that I’ve only gone down a pound in ten days. Well I guess I will need to re-calculate goals for June...
