After the long break ( and a significant fall from grace 😱) I’m joining in again. I seriously hope I will persevere this time.

I am actually OK with losing slowly. This is the last week of school and with everyone bringing in treats and celebrating I am rather surprised that I drooped 1 lb.1 -

MFP shows I should lose 2 lbs a week on 1200 a day - but I don't think it works for the last 10ish lbs. Going to give eating a bit more a go for a few weeks and see how it goes. I've been muscling thru the days lately - fighting exhaustion.

I hadn't actually weighed in on 6/3. So I went with my most recent average. The next day I weighed myself, and it was on the upper side of 132. Probably had to do with some chinese food we ate that weekend. It took like 3 days for the bloat to go down. I have not been very good at logging or weighing daily. But I am trying to mind my portions for the most part. I've noticed I am getting a little too comfortable with over eating, so I've been working to stop eating before I get too full. I suppose one could call this a version of portion creep.

I managed to peel myself out of bed for a yoga session this week.
Last night we had to grab dinner. I ordered the half salad instead of the full salad.
I said no to a 2nd piece of pie. I wanted to try both kinds, but I stuck to just a sliver of only 1.1 -

June 17: 148 - HOLY SMOKES!! Yesterday sucked on so many levels, I turned to stress eating - I couldn't tell you teh last time I did that. Large order McDonalds fries, chocolate cake, beer, hamburger, chips, queso - and nothing in moderation. Yesterday morning, I weighed 146 - today I'm majorly bloated and the scale is the highest it's been in ages. Literally 5 lbs heavily than it was 7 days ago. I really want to cry, but I'm downing green tea & water instead.

So the weight is coming off. Lots of little workouts and still sticking to low carb/dirty keto diet. However I want the Body Fat to melt off more than the weight. I haven't seen much of a difference in June. 22.2%~21.1% range. I think I would see more muscles if I got down to 20%. More water? More lifting? or more cardio??0 -

June 18 - 137 lbs. After house guests, Father’s Day and a block party. I’m back on plan. I'm trying new recipes. It’s helped with feeling more satisfied. I'm enjoying cardio outside in the warm weather. I’m making time for the gym to lift. Everything is a work in progress.

June 22: 160.2 (+0.8 lbs -- I was expecting this. I drank last night, which I normally don't on Fridays. And this week has literally been hell at work. Once next week finishes, things at work will finally normalize and I can start refocusing on my weight. For now, I'll just be happy my clothes still fit.

So I went up a pound. I been eating happy- Celebrating my son's birthday and all.
And I haven't been able to squeeze in my quick moves in the mornings... Those 10-15 min really starts my day. I have to find a way.
But on the bright side, my clothes are fitting better and I feel pretty good. I am so close to my goal too. So keeping my chin up and keeping calm2 -

Ultimate goal: I look best at 115-117 lbs, but at this point, I'll be happy if I ever see 122 lbs again. 10 years ago when I was working out everyday, I weighed 105-117 lbs & was ripped. Granted, 105 lbs was too low. My weight gain has really occurred in the last 4 years. After a few deaths in the family I got depressed & lost motivation to do anything so I stopped working out & have been eating too much. Now I have the motivation to work out hard again (woo hoo!) & have been successfully cutting calories, too. But it's so much harder to lose weight in my mid 40s than it used to be.1
