Hello Can any one tell me how many calories should I eat I am 2 years out gastric bypass . I am also unsure how much protein I should be eating also carbs . Thanks

per my surgeons office you should be eating at least 60 grams of protein a day. Here are are a few of the pages from my bariatric book. Hope this helps!

@Samquentin thanks for posting this, I am over 5 years out and it's good to have this reminder!! The only thing I can't do is breakfast - I cannot eat that soon after I wake up. I might have a protein drink or some almond milk, but eating breakfast is rare for me!!!1

For the first 18 months after surgery, I had a protein shake for breakfast, then I found out that my "acute liver injury" was due to the whey protein isolate shakes. So I am banned from protein powders now. (any and all) My Liver doc said it's a known issue, and she has healthy body builders come in with elevated liver enzymes, and it is due to supplements.
I still have the food lists taped to my refrigerator.1
