Exercise-Yes, 2 mile walk.
Calories-Yes
Tracking-Yes, I’m still focusing on entering foods before I eat them in an effort to track more accurately.
4 pass days
NSV is that the summer clothes that were a bit tight last year fit so much better this year. I get a big smile on my face when i put on my cute new clothes that are so much smaller than what I wore before. I’ve also noticed better stamina while out walking and the elliptical seems easier lately.12 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes 45 min spin class
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
My NSV is watching my endurance increase and being able to push myself further than ever before in spin class. I surprised myself today and it felt good.9 -
I love reading everyone's NSVs!!
My daily report:
Exercise: 90+ minutes of walking and horseback riding before breakfast
Tracking:good
Calories: under my limit9 -
Yes x 3 for Monday
Love NSV day! Mine is that i was recently bummed that i haven't seen much scale progress even though ive been really on top of everything calorie and workout wise.
Last weekend i dug up old measurements, both from before i started actively trying to loose weight years ago and also from three years ago when i was getting serious.
Im thrilled that even though im 15 lb over my lowest historic weight, im much smaller inches wise! Ive lost a ton of inches overall since i started taking fitness seriously. For me it doesn't get better for a NSV than that...all i have is NSV lol!12 -
I got a bit lazy with my tracking yesterday, so am making this pass day #3
NSV, a couple of friends who I dont see often telling me how good I look, moving from being able to run for a minute at a time to over 40 minutes and, the most important one to me, starting to quite often like what i see in the mirror
Great to read everyone else's NSVs too, you're all awesome!12 -

Exercise: Yes, 31 minutes of walking, 27 minutes of gym cardio (combination of stepper and stationary bike).
Calories: Yes, barely.
Tracking: Yes
For whatever reason, today was a tough day to stay motivated. It's so easy to get back into bad eating habits (eating when not really hungry) and I almost slipped today. I managed to stay on track and even got to the gym tonight. Not an overall active day (6K steps), but I averaged over 15K per day this weekend, so I can't feel bad. I just need to stay focused and the scale will go my way.9 -

07/12 - 333.6 - I am so excited! I'm a school administrator and have been off work for the summer since June 7th. When I weighed in on 6/8, I was 349.6. One of my goals this summer was to kick my exercise and good eating habits into high gear. Here I am barely over a month later and I'm down 16 lbs! I'm keeping my calories to 2,000 most days; if I do go over, then I exercise longer to ensure I have a deficit. The biggest change is that I've been doing a LOT of walking. I exercise 7 days a week, where my 1 rest day is just a 30 minute easy walk. The other days I'm averaging over 70 minutes of exercise per day. Eating out is almost non-existent...too much salt. I finally found the right combination of food, exercise, and sleep that works best for my body.
<snip>
I was so happy to read this; it's just so motivational to see hard work paying off in both scale and non-scale victories. Congrats.
If you can keep banking those deficits day after day, it really pays off. I plugged your data into a BMR (basal metabolic rate) calculator and you're probably burning 3500 calories per day with that level of exercise, plus or minus. If you can continue to eat at ~2000 calories per day, that's a weekly 10,500 calorie deficit, which happens to exactly equal 3 lbs. You losing 3 lbs per week hasn't been a fluke, it's been your hard work.
Is your weight loss going to be a straight line? No, not a chance, as the next few days of your log proved. But in the long run, calorie deficits pay off.
Congrats!

Ex:5 min chest cold
Under by 130! & ALL healthy!
Tracked all.
NSV: although the scale is being a pest, I realized I was walking around in a tucked in sleeveless tank top & my skinny jeans with NO self-consciousness. It’s taken awhile, but I’ve accepted my body & am so grateful for it even if I have a couple of things I sometimes wish were different!
NSV: calmly looked & reflected in all my food & exercise data to see why scale keeps going up- figured it out. I’m exercising 200-300 calories less now than before I got sick. Explains a lot. The NSV was I cremates a plan to assess on July 15 & to diet if I was over 155. I did that. Not easy, but my NSV is I did it, returning to my successful habits.

07/13 - 337.2 - I don't have a clue why the big jump overnight. But I'm still thrilled because Saturday is my actual weigh-in day, and today's weigh-in was over 3 lbs less than last week.
07/14 - Church day, no time for weigh-in this morning. Steps = 16,308 for the day!
07/15 - 336 - Planning to do 2 Leslie Sansone workouts today (100 minutes total); aiming for at least 15,000 steps this week. I'll update tomorrow with how I did today. I figured why not plan my exercise like I plan my food.

Yes x 3!
Exercise was 30 minutes of lap swimming at the outdoor pool - got called out due to lightning.
NSV1: This weekend while doing yard work looked towards the back of my dresser drawer for something to trash while being out in the mud and sweat. I pulled out an old workout outfit that hadn't fit well for over a year - and it fit! Hooray!
NSV2: Two people complimented me on looking thinner! Kicking those 20 pounds to the curb to never return!7 -
