    Hi Friends,

    OMG it was such a crazy busy weekend and I mean to take lots of food pics but totally failed at that so I will do my best to recreate what we had over the past weekend.

    Thursday --July 4th we grilled out dogs, homemade potato salad, pasta salad, baked beans, flag cake.

    Friday, ribs, white beans, left over sides, and fresh grilled zucchini and squash

    Saturday ---pool party for my youngest baseball team, we had pizza/salad for my OMAD

    Sunday, out to our fave Mexican place, Chuys, chili releno pepper, chicken enchilada, green chilie rice and ref, beans.

    This is a crazy busy week at work and my pre-beach week......so I will do my best to keep up!

    Ooops sorry totally forgot my Thursday morning weigh in.......

    Last week I was at 170 even and this past Thursday down to 168 :) so another 2lb loss......
    I was happy with that......of course that was prior to all the delicious food over the past weekend :)......more water please :)

    I am going to be brave and do this......Thanks to @mistymeadows2005 for putting her before/after pictures out there, I was thinking have I really changed? And over the past weekend I thought you know i have, maybe I can inspire others.....so here goes....

    The first pic was toward the end of 2017 before I got serious with changing once and for all. At my highest I was about 220 or 230....YIKES...

    And while I am not done yet, right now I am at 168.....and am feeling better than ever. Not at maintenance yet but am slowly getting there.....

    PS yes I am the proud momma of a rescue pittie :) the sweetest dogs ever! They just get a bad reputation from people.......She is a doll.....and thinks she is a lap dog :)

    B: HOW MAMA!!!!!!! HOLY YOUR FACE! SO much difference! I mean HUGE diff everywhere but your face difference had my jaw on the ground!!! Thank you for being brave and putting it out there because you're GORGEOUS and your progress is super inspiring! Love youuuuu!!!!

    Thanks girl.....it was sickening almost to view the "old me" just so ughhh.....but you get to that point where enough is enough and I was totally there when I got serious about the change.
    Still not to UGW yet, but so close.....the spinning has helped a lot in terms of shaping, but still a work in progress :).....

    Hi Friends,

    It has been a crazy work week! We moved offices and it has been insane, hopefully things will calm down. We have also had VBS at our church so I have been involved in that every night this week! It has been a lot of fun and exhausting at the same time!

    My eating hasn't been perfect in terms of food although it has still been OMAD. Will be weighing tomorrow morning instead of today, had a salty meal last night and totally have to push that water today!!!!

    We leave for the beach next Thursday and I just totally can't wait!!!! I am sure I won't hit my 10lb goal but at least i am still losing, I can't get discouraged with the numbers. I am pretty sure the slow losses will continue until I reach my goal!

    Hi Friends,

    Sorry it was such a crazy busy weekend I didn't get to reply or catch up. We leave for the beach on Thursday so I was prepping for that most of the weekend, along with random other stuff.

    My previous weight was 170 and on Saturday when I weighed I was at 168 <3 . So 6lbs has been my loss pre-beach. My goal was 10 but I am super happy with 6lb especially since I was not as strict as I had wanted. I know how to do this, and I feel comfortable with the rate that I am at right now. And when I think long term, I am only 18lbs away from the top end of my UGW. What the what?? That just amazes me! B)

    I totally feel like a different person, I have so much energy, I sleep great, and I am no longer controlled by food. I am in control and I make the choices that I want to make. I have struggled so long (see those awful pics) with finding something that works, and this has been the one thing that I can go back to time and again and it is for life!

    There were some pictures taken last week from our VBS event at church, and I saw one of myself and was like, wait is that really me?? I actually looked at lot smaller than I still see myself in my head.

    For all of you that are just starting, keep it up. You will not be perfect, the struggle is real, but with patience and consistency you will get to where you want to be ---whatever that is --and it doesn't have to be a number on the scale it can just be where you feel you need to be.

    You're SO CLOSE Donna! Super proud of you! I think we all struggle with seeing ourselves how we really are because we were big for so long...I always get confused when I see pics of myself and I'm smaller than some of the other people in the picture...doesn't compute for me yet LOL - we'll get there though ;)

    6lbs is still a wonderful loss! Great job! :) 18lbs away only? Congrats!!! For me, I still the fat old me when I see myself in the mirror :( Hopefully, when I get down to 50kg, it would change.. fingers cross!

    I have a dr. appt tomorrow and not too thrilled to get a post vaca weight check but basically I did OMAD (with the exception of drinks) :).....oh well totally worth it :)........

    Absolutely worth it! A lot of any weight you put on will come off quickly - salt etc...I'm preachin to the choir but you know what i mean LMAO

    Hi friends,

    yeah I have been pushing the heck outta some water and am starting to feel better. I didn't go too overboard, would just eat a kind bar or something in the morning, and then maybe a couple of drinks or beer at the beach, and then we had amazing dinners (sometimes followed by ice cream) :) but all in all I don't think I did too much damage......Will find out later with my dr. appt....
