This week I was able to focus more on MOVEMENT. I was able to squeeze in 3 rides on my Peloton this week (not counting tonight's ride) after work and after I was able to get baby to sleep. The past few days have been a struggle with cravings because my house is full of carb loaded snacks for kids, but I've held strong. My goal for next week is to focus on IF. I've been roughly doing 12/12 but I'm going to try 16/8. The time I spend awake makes fasting for 16 hours a challenge but I will give it one week at least to see if I can adapt. I also commit to 5 rides next week.6 -

August GW: 256 (This puts me one pound below my lowest ever Keto weight from 5/7/19. It will help me to know that I really have gotten back on track after 3 months of up and down, up and down.)

I went to the Nahko & Medicine for the People concert and had an awesome time. The next day we went on a road trip and stopped at three different hiking spots; we checked out a beautiful waterfall, an old growth grove, and a wilderness conservancy. It was a beautiful day ♡
According to my Fitbit, I walked, hiked & danced away over 8000 calories this weekend!

Celebrated family birthdays on Saturday, but didn’t cheat at all! But I didn’t properly track my macros, and I know I had more than I should have. The keto flu had brought me down a bit, but I’m determined to get back on track and continue with ‘strict’ keto!

I just found this group and could not be more excited! I got serious about keto last September and was really good through February. Then life happens and I really fell of the wagon. And I have been struggling every since to get back. In June I attended KetoCon in Austin, TX and it was such an incredible experience. Just what I needed to get back on track. Then July was a terrible month. Had some medical issues. I'm basically starting where I was last year. But I have re-dedicated myself and am going strong for August so far.

Super excited I found this group with an August challenge. I’ve counted ww points, calories, juicing but this is my first time trying keto. A good friend of mine has had crazy success in losing weight on keto and I’m gonna give it all I got for the month of August. Hoping a solid 30 days of keto will give me a good weight loss boost to keep me motivated to keep going until I reach my goal.

New to the group, started Monday. Also doing 16/8 Intermittent Fasting and increasing my activity level. I've done lots of other diets, this one is new to me. Praying for results.3 -
I am so glad I found this group. I was diagnosed with Diabetes back in April and knew I had to lose weight. I started with a low carb, IF and 24 hour fasting diet and have lost 25 lbs so far. I am now ready to take the next step -KETO. I am new to this, have done some research and think this is the next logical step. I am heading out on vacation but will take the 28 Day Challenge when I get back at the beginning of Sept.
I know this is for the August challenge so I am stating, out loud, that I am starting in September.

08/04: Away on vacation & cheating hard.
08/11: 188.0 This isn’t as bad as it could have been. I was away on vacation cheating for a week, on top of that, this is a new scale, AND it’s that TOM right now. So I’m actually thrilled that I only popped up 4.5lbs! I’m confident I’ll lose most of it this week as it is probably mainly bloating.

Still struggling with my motivation to prepare keto food. If I only had a personal keto chef????? Actually, it is not that difficult, but I keep being lazy and give in too easy old non-keto habits that knock me off ketosis. I know how keto works on me and at this point I should be dropping weight fast. Instead, I’ve only managed half a pound this week.
Next week we have company coming who says they are interested in keto. Perhaps this will be an opportunity for my inner keto chef to come out! I’ll report back next week. Hopefully, with better weight loss results and other Non-Scale Victories that come to me when I am loyal to a Keto Way of Existing.
