Another Wednesday another time setting up and breaking down the Farmer’s Market. It was Kid’s Day so I had extra work but I had extra fun too. I hopped along in a sack race and led the parachute games.

Exercise: Yes, 30 minute walk
Calories: Yes
Tracking: Yes
My walk was while I was waiting at the DMV (department of motor vehicles; I needed to renew my driver's license). Instead of waiting inside, I took a vigorous walk. No way I make that choice if I'm not in this challenge.6 -
@MadDuck62 Great choice!
@lalabank Sack races and parachute games! The quintessential summer activities.
@cj917 Whenever the scales do unexpected things for me I revert to thinking of my weight using my recent diary deficits or overages. In the short term, it’s more accurate.
I’ve got the opposite sitch, my scales dropped too quickly last week. Four times more than my predicted deficit. Which means for the next three weeks, it’s likely that the scales aren’t going to move much despite me eating at a deficit every day. In my case it’s because I ate low carb last week, but I will probably eat more carbs in my diet as the month progresses.3 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Walk after dinner.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Not sure how but yes! LOL. It was a very bad day eating wise but I my walk helped offset it and I came in with 9 calories to spare.
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes.4 -

That's a great way to think about it @goldthistime ! Ultimately cico will work, so the fact that I've been right under my calories target all week means I should be slowly losing weight in the long run, regardless of weird scale changes in the short term.
Weighed myself this morning and I'm right back to the same weight I was two days ago. So yesterday was a strange blip it seems.2 -
@happysherri So sorry for your loss0
