I mean, slow and steady wins the race right? I've never dropped out of ketosis, I'm within my caloric intake window, and I'm more active than I've been in MONTHS. Still frustrated that progress is going slow but, I'm thankful for progress.

I’d say I’m disappointed I haven’t lost more, but I travel for work 3-4 days a week. And even with that, and making adjustments as best I can at group dinners, I’m losing weight. I’d normally gain a pound every trip.4 -

I'm a 44-year-old male, 6-foot-2, been up and down in the weight department (mostly up) for most of my adult life. According to my genes and body type, I'm high-risk for the whole gamut of metabolic illnesses, from type-2 diabetes to heart disease. The time to act was yesterday! Officially started keto on Monday 8/12, so this is day 11 - and so far, so good.

Hello Everyone!!! I just started Keto on 7/5/19 and am loving it so far!!! I feel energized and clear and just all around GOOD! I have a bit of mental/physical health and digestion issues ... I feel like this new way of eating has helped me a TON!! I am 33years old, 5'5 and technically obese with a 30.1 BMI on a petite frame.

Sunday 8/3 = 168.7
Sunday 8/11 = 166.4 (down 2.3 lbs) I was on vacation last week, so not fully on Keto but was mindful of what I was eating/drinking.
Sunday 8/18 = 162.5 (down 3.9 lbs) First full week eating Keto, feeling somewhat low energy & hoping this "Keto flu" passes in the next couple of days. Also doing IF 16:8.
Sunday 8/25 = 158.5 (down 4.0 lbs) Lots more energy this week & the headaches of the previous week have passed. I was able to entertain a friend this week and stay keto making a great cheese board with raspberries, salami, & marcona almonds, even used a keto friendly "cracker" and she was none the wiser.

While I had a lot of progress in July, I have been gaining and losing the same 2 pounds for all of August. I reviewed my food diary and my carbs have edged up - my goal was 30g or under a day, but I think I might have to ratchet it down to 20g or less to maintain good loss. So I’m cutting out my low carb wraps and almond flour crackers and other sneaky places. This week’s meal plan is on track and I’m hoping to see a little more progress again! Definitely not going to hit that August goal weight, though1 -

Ummmmmmm, my scale didn't get the memo that I'm trying to LOSE weight. It's going in the wrong direction!
To be fair, I've reverted to the same old routine of halfassery, sticking to strictly keto-friendly foods but not tracking. It appears that's not good enough.

This has been one busy month, school holidays, working kids and so our grandchildren have spent an inordinate amount of time with us and we've taken them away twice. School starts next week yippee!! I now have less than 8 weeks until our major holiday when we are away for 6 weeks, so maybe I can get my mind into gear and actually take off a few pounds and keep this off rather than taking off and putting on the same 3 pounds.......ahhhhhhh!

08/04: Away on vacation & cheating hard.
08/11: 188.0 This isn’t as bad as it could have been. I was away on vacation cheating for a week, on top of that, this is a new scale, AND it’s that TOM right now. So I’m actually thrilled that I only popped up 4.5lbs! I’m confident I’ll lose most of it this week as it is probably mainly bloating.

I didn’t quite meet this month’s goal, after stalling out for three weeks at the beginning of the month. But... after turning my carbs down to less than 20g a day, progress started back up. I almost made my goal this month, and I’m hoping next week is even better!2 -
