Back from a long weekend at the Region 2 dressage championships. I did not ride (didn't show this year) but went to cheer on my barn mates who were competing. Good time, beautiful horses and great rides, reasonable amount of exercise and too much good food. Back on track today.7

Good day (it's always easier to have these when the sun is shining). Started with a beachfront walk and included a rehab session at lunchtime (I hated it and have to do lots of painful homework but I need it to get back on the mats.)
Prelogged all my food and stuck with the plan.
I did have a crisis when I dropped and broke my bamboo travel mug (aka adult sippy cup). I'm a coffee snob and very green so I use it all the time. A stop on the way home added a beautiful new yellow cup to my life and the previous one did give me a couple of years of use and will now be buried in the compost bin to decompose.12 -

Had a nice time this evening: went to a lecture by the painter whose exhibition I saw last week, very interesting. Then to the movies, British film with lots of Bruce Springsteen music in it...8 -

I made that motorcycle ride this morning brrrr 44 degrees just sitting on the machine to warm up but what a wonderful ride to work.
Walked, went back to gym this evening hard on my knee but did it, did some weight and arm work logged my food and stayed under6 -

Pass Day #4 for me.
Met up in person with a friend I met here on MFP and decided to make it a celebration. We had a 9 course tasting menu and there were so many interesting and unusual flavours and sauces that it would be impossible to estimate. Plus my full stomach tells me I went over my calorie goal.
No regrets though, I don’t think my weight loss goals for the month are in jeopardy at all. And we had a fantastic time.8 -
@goldthistime, I am going to join you with my social/relationship Pass Day. Met with an attorney friend who now lives abroad in Africa. We had not been together for a couple of years. That was lunch time. I was the host.
Then dinner with visitors from Pittsburgh who journey to my office once per month.
Too much food; no exercise; thank goodness that is an exception to my habits.
I enjoyed my time with both sets of friends.

Enjoyed reading everyone's NSVs from yesterday!
Leaving tomorrow for a two night cabin camping trip with my 5th grade students. Not sure if I will be able to track and log or not. Depends on how easy the food is to search for on mfp and how much time I have to log while watching the kids. Even if I end up disqualified for WC in Sep at least I know that for the next few days I'll be exercising a lot and no alcohol
