Pass days number Lots for the last weekend and more. I was already not going to make WC this month, but that's no excuse.
I got detoured by bad news from my physical terrorist, I mean physiotherapist. Frozen shoulder apparently takes long to rehab and she isn't ruling out a pinched nerve in addition. I've already been off the mats 7 months now and was hoping to start phasing back slowly, but I'm going to be out even longer. That really gutted me, as I love jiu jitsu and really miss it.
Busy weekend as Contest Director of a local Loggers Surfing Competition and just to add to my joyful mood, got hit by a dose of flu. I'm back at work now, only because everyone else is off, really just want to get back in bed. I'll take it easy until Monday (well, as easy as I can working everyday) to let the flu go away and then I'll stop moping about an unfortunate development that I can't change, and start dealing with it properly. (I'm already doing the physio homework, but not dealing with the emotions of the issue well yet.)
I haven't eaten very well, but didn't overdo it it too badly either.
On the positive side my nieces, nephew and friends came to visit the museum today (visiting me at work is FUN!) I think we should hire my nephew for fundraising events...

Hi folks. I've injured my leg running on the treadmill with inferior shoes (I put off making a trip to buy new ones because I have very little free time and wanted to spend it doing things I like).
I'm staying home right now with ice on my elevated leg. I could possibly do some upper body exercise (while I lie around with an elevated leg??), but otherwise will just log in here with no exercise for a few days. Boo hiss. My main concern is being able to go to work.
@Dory_42 sorry to read about your frozen shoulder problems. The photo is adorable.11 -
September 26th: I get confused with dates and times! Most of you are in American time zones ... I'm European.

hi there- managed today but felt like a bit of a squeeze - keep on keeping on. just thinking why it's felt harder... too much unhealthy food today - equals more calories with less nutrition thats probably it. Anyway 3 x yes despite that. best wishes all see you tomorrow!5

Yes x 3 for me today. It felt like an easy day, perhaps because my husband cooked up a ton of vegetables and I gobbled them up!
Exercise was just 20 min of strength training in the morning, but I was also active with the grandkids all day. My 11 month old grandson learned to wave and say “Bah” (his version of Bye) today. My heart swells.
That reminds me, @Dory_42, I’m a little bit glad your nephew isn’t encouraging donations near me, he’d have me emptying my wallet! He’s so charming!2 -
