OK, enough moping around. I'm pretty much over my flu and ready to fight again. I'm not doing the kind of fighting I want, but I will fight for the ability to get back on the mat.
Today I'm seeing my physio and will put together a plan on action for my recovery period, and then get a cortisone injection to help with that recovery.
I'm going to use this period to work on my discipline and the mental side of my training, because I know it needs improvement.
I've dropped my overall calories by 200 because I'm much less active than I was and I will see how that goes for a couple of weeks.
Let's do this!7 -
So I am in the winners circle no matter what I do today ... I have used 2 pass days and today it a free day
should I blow it ....... not at all ... I will get up and go get my Monday exercise on !!!!!
Well done everyone who stuck with the challenge through September regardless of if you are in or out of the circle you gave September your best shot ... now lets pick up the pieces and get ready for October7 -
I was good until this weekend and didn’t exercise. I am still considering the month a success as I filled my exercise rings all but 4 days this month on my Apple Watch & lost the weight I gained from working too much (& not planning enough) in June & July.
I look forward to October. I won’t make the winners circle in October either because I will be on vacation & have no way to track calories but I will consider it a win if I stay on track until I leave.
Congrats to those who qualified for the winners circle!6 -

I had a good day! Didn't eat as much as I should but I don't have days like this very often so I'm not worried.
Exercise included a physio session for my shoulder (got another increase in range which is encouraging and planned my treatment going forward) and a general rehab session. I was going for a walk with a friend and her dogs in the evening (her husband is away) but it was raining and then her new car arrived (husband organised it as a surprise!)
I also had coffee with a friend, made plans to keep busy this week, prepped/planned food for the week, got a cortisone injection in my shoulder, so a constructive day.
Ready to hit the new month running (really, I need to go for a run tomorrow...)5 -

No winners circle for me. But ...I did manage to get the Strava climbing merit badge for September with a little bit of change left over.
I haven't been all that diligent otherwise so I am still carrying part of last winter's party weight.
Not real far from maintenance but the last few pounds down to that does require some diligence.
Alcohol free for a couple of weeks now. I suspect that might be my missing diligence ingredient.
Congrats to all of the circle winners.
But Don't gotta be in the circle to justify keeping on plugging away.3 -
well done winners! I have done well today having tracked under limit and exercised. I have finished a month successfully being consistent the last 9 days - made a good start to September also - shame about the middle of the month! looking forward to doing well in October.4

Finished the month strong. And the scale is co-operating big time. Under 2 lbs away from my 2019 GW. Under 4lbs away from my original UGW. I may shoot for the 140s!!! 😂
3 x Yes for today. October! Here I come!!!5 -
Congrats to all the winners and thanks to RangerRick for overseeing the challenge! I didn't make the winner's circle, but found the challenge to be fun and beneficial. See y'all in October.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, hobbling around 3 long parking lots, the doctor, a restaurant, and a huge grocery store. I have a knee/leg injury and walking is suddenly a major task. Fortunately, I didn't tear anything and won't need surgery.

It was my bachelorette party weekend this weekend and I didn't even know how to track everything 😣 Not that I was in the running for the winners circle this month but I still wish I'd taken some time to check in with MFP. This is obviously a once in a lifetime type of thing but there will be other important celebrations and each one does not have to be a free for all. One thing I've really learned from this challenge is how completely inconsistent I am with my eating and tracking, and how easily I throw it all out the window. I'm looking forward to coming back in November and really working on building better habits!
Congrats to all you committed, wonderful folks who made the winners circle!!!!5 -
Good job to those in the Winners' Circle! And, hey, good job to everybody who stuck to it through the month!
ECT is a yes for me. Monday morning is my barre class at the Y which makes it easy.

Yes x 3 for me. Despite my 4 pass days, this month was a big success for me weight wise, down almost 5 lbs. I’m looking forward to hanging onto that loss, maybe even adding onto it in October.3

Great job, everyone!
Today is my one and only Pass Day for September. Tonight I celebrated Rosh Hashanah with my hubby (he's Jewish) and we made the most incredible cheese blintzes. Basically dessert for dinner. LOL I would have taken a picture, but we were too busy eating. So worth the calories!
And after running and walking for a combined 53,557 steps this weekend, I went to get up this morning to work out before work and my body say, "Hey -- we need a break!" So I decided to take a rest day. Still exceeded my 10,000 steps for the day, but that was it.
Hope to see you all in October!2 -
