@Bill70sStrong Rusks are kind of like hard dry versions of bread or cake (which sounds terrible, but they are delicious). For example, to make hot cross bun rusks, you put hot cross buns in a low heat oven for a few hours. Most people dip them in coffee or tea but I love the crunch they make. Buttermilk ones are the best.
@goldthistime It is the most fun game! Quick and easy to learn and each round doesn't take too long. A certain amount of strategy helps, but a large portion of luck as well, so normally one person doesn't dominate and win all the time!
Good day for me. 30 minute run/walk (lungs not happy from eating too much wheat lately, but I'm getting back to running for the full time). Good food choices and all logged, getting to the lower end of my target range. Great session at physio with more positive feedback.
And my new portable coffee grinder arrived (I got it from my insurance awards!!!) - It's the Lume grinder if there are any other coffee snobs around...3 -
Lovely photos everyone!
Back on track today
Exercise 30 min walk, 60 min cleaning

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
yes,yes,yes,1 -
Lots of "incomplete logging" - started here on Oct 7 so wasn't in winners circle anyway .... but now have 3 or 4 official "Pass Days"
No hugs or condolences please. I can tell from my fitbit tracker that I was in plenty-great form for exercise, and the scale conformed with expectations, so it is a fairly safe bet that I actually stayed well within my calorie budget - which includes exercise calories if necessary. And would still have had significant calories left over if I had actually recorded everything.
That's what happens when my birthday dinner /left-over pumpkin pie / my actual birthday / Canadian Thanksgiving Family Dinner / second left-over pumpkin pie all happen one day after the other within an 10-day stretch. No more foreseeable special occasions before end of November / beginning of December when the Holly Daze Social Event Silly Season starts at the office. The next two family birthdays aren't until end of December and early January.
There are advantages to having a small immediate family and social circle!2 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Yes, TRX full body workout for 1 hour and 10 minutes of hell. I now have aches and pains in muscles I didn't even know existed!
How? Why??? Glad you asked. You see, I pay actual money for another human to yell at me. Meaning I have a trainer. Because I am lazy and disorganized, and everything in life has a price. Since we've become friends, he's promised to yell at me for free as soon as I stop zoning out and can actually remember what exercises to do. Fun times ahead.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
