Karen you sure get to go to a lot of far away places. You must love to travel.
We just got home from a 4.06 mile walk in 86 mins. 21 min. mile. Next weekend will be faster. We start picking up Ronan and Bean tomorrow morning, so we'll be walking in the dark during the week. I think we are slower in the dark. We'll see. It was beautiful this morning.

Good 1st fill day in Budapest. Managed to fast post of the day and just eat dinner. Had stuffed cabbage just like Grandma’s! So good. Too exhausted to workout, but did walk to work which was a good 20 mins!
Need to keep hydrated with all of this salty food!
Have a great day!

I’ve had to rest my knee most days this week but did get in 4.8 miles on Tuesday but nothing since then. Going to see what I can do today. Along with an upper body workout. No swimming lesson today. They are installing an enclosure for the winter months.

No walking yesterday but worked out w/our trainer and no walking today. This cold is messin' with me and I don't want to walk in the cold, dark morning.
Chris1 -
We walked this morning...4.53 miles in 94 mins...a 20.49 min mile. I would love to see that number change, but I am so, so happy we are even getting out there and getting it done.
Chris1 -
3.24 miles in 73 mins this morning. My hip was cryin". Dumb hip.
Chris1 -
I have been walking mostly on the treadmill and in the mall. A little on the mountain. But it has been showing here. Glad to see you all are doing something.
Chris you get some rest and take it easy.
Kathy that sounds great.
Karen I love stuffed cabbage! Enjoy your trip. Even if it is work.

Awesome Karen!

60 min swim lesson today. For the first time I swam the width of the pool. And I did it again before the lesson was over. I’ve never done that before. We also worked on the deep in...10 feet. She taught me how to let go to the bottom and come back up. Then I went on my back and floated, kicked and finned the entire length of the pool. Then did it again.
I’m so proud of myself. And boy it was a good workout. Ready for Jamaica...Ron’s going to be so surprised at my progress.
Kathy0 -
Kathy that's so great!
Nice going, Karen
Shelley, sorry about your arm. Hope it's better today.

Great job Shelley!
What's on tap for movement this weekend? I plan to go to the gym this morning and tomorrow. May go to an amusement park tonight with the fam. Will see!

Did not work out w/our trainer yesterday. She got really sick. I stayed home! It was SIL's b'day, so we went to DDD&SIL's for dinner. His mom made mac&cheese. He loves it. (DDD makes it much better.) Ronan was so cute. I wish I had a pic of him sitting on DH's lap. He was leaning against DH's chest with both his legs down DH's right leg with his ankles crossed on DH's knee. So darn adorable.
Walked this morning 3.85 miles in 78 mins. in the dark this morning - 11,069 steps so far - then DDD and I got our hair cut, and now I'm starting a new book. Also...I've eaten like crap so far today!! That's all.
We may go to the pumpkin patch w/DDD, SIL & Ronan tomorrow. Don't know yet. DDD's back is still a bit of a mess.
Chris1 -
Super busy day at work, but fit in a 25 minute walk night with Bella and Jim. Such a nice fall evening!
Karen1 -
Chris I wish the fire in California would die out. I hate that it is destroying so much. The pumpkin patch sounds really fun. I hope you all have fun there.
Karen walking with others is best. You walk faster while walking with others. Nice job!
I got in over 13000 steps today. Felt great.
Shelley1 -
No walking this morning. I don't like the cold, and 39 degrees is too cold for this California brat. I'll just have to start getting on the recumbent bike for my miles. I asked for a Fitbit One for Christmas. Pat got me one on Ebay yesterday. Should have it by Friday. I do have a Fitbit watch, but sometimes forget to put it on until late in the morning...like yesterday. UGH!! I am a happy girl!
Chris1 -
Chris we need a muahaha button. For when you get a smile or laugh from something we had said. You do know that 39 is above freezing right.
So I thought I heard someone behind me and turned to see who itwas. I missed the handrail and broke several nails. That is when I fell the last few steps twisting my ankle and breaking my left foot. I really feel stupid.
Shelley0 -
Shelley - glad you didn't have another fall. Take care ok d yourself! Sadly...I am a faller too
Karen1 -
Thanks Karen! And sorry you are a taller also. I was a bum all day.
Shelley0 -
SHELLEY!!!! What are you doing breaking your foot?? Man! That sucks royally! I am so sorry.
You can be a bum as long as you need. What did the doc say about your down-time? Oh, poop! What is your light duty job?
Chris1 -
And...39 degrees is freezin' fanny around here. We went out this morning and I thought my runny nose was going to freeze right there on my face! UGH!!! I hate the cold! We did do 3.0 miles in an hour starting at 5:00 a.m. Then we got the boys. They are due to be picked up any minute now. I'm going to read until it's time to get ready for Halloween. Giving out Play Doh again this year. Going to answer the door as a short giraffe.
Chris0 -
How can a tall person be a short giraffe? Oh, duh, I get iy! Muahaha
Light duty is where I get to do a lot of entering and phone answering. And I refuse to let it keep me down to long!
