Well wish me luck. Had a slight set back. Broke my darn foot. But I am still going to make it to 135. It wi l be harder. But not impossible.

Kathy Thank You so much for the kind words. I am not in to much pain. I am just glad no one saw me after I fell. That would have been so awkward. There I was laying on the floor wondering how long it would take for my foot to stop yelling at me and hold me up. A girl has her pride after all.

So Th decided to buy a used camper for now instead of building a cabin right away. Kind of happy about that. We can take our time choosing the cabin and it's location.
Halloween was so much fun. Lots of ghosts and goblins and most parents dressed up also. Libby On does not like clowns. She barked at them. Silly little girl. Candy is out of the house now.

137.8 at 7:00 this morning...maybe.
Shelley, I know what you mean...I have tripped and fallen while out walking by myself and hoped no one saw what happened. One time was on one of Antioch's busiest streets so everybody passing saw!!So embarrassed.
For Halloween, Ronan was Jack from Nightmare Before Christmas...Sara was Sally...Pete wore a t-shirt w/something Nightmare on it. They were so cute! We gave out Play Doh and gave it all away! That was a first since we moved here. I usually had lots left over and gave it to Sara for her classroom.

I think people know you have it out last year and came for more.
I have out its of chocolate. Almost all 4 large bags were given out. We had lots of little goblins! And most were so polite and talkative. Lots of fun.
I cleaned out a quarantine tank today. Moved some snails and two fish into the large tank. I forgot to get pictures of them.Also cleaned all the equipment and set it out to dry. Tomorrow I will move it into storage. Strange thing, with so many mollies in there the stress in the tank is lower. The baby regal angel is out swimming more and the other large fish hardly even look at her now!

Sounds like you had fun with your fish yesterday, Shelley.
I had lunch w/a friend this afternoon. I felt really bad for her. She started a job not long ago that she was excited about but when they lost their customer service employee, they stuck her in that position. She is a techie person not customer service. That sucks. I love being retired!
Going to read this evening.

Struggling to get my steps in. Just haven't had a whole lot of energy the past few days. Trying to work on my sleep which is always a challenge. Not sure that I can go to the gym today I have to leave early so I can go and vote. Which is probably more important! Hope everybody has a great day!

139.4 this morning at 5:30. Restless night. Didn't walk this morning.
Doc switched up my meds yesterday. I ordered them, but they will come in the mail. Pat takes the same meds, so I took one of his. We'll see if it does any better than what I was taking. At least it's only once a day instead of every six hours.

Chris- Restless sleeping for me too! I really had a hard time all week. Trying to get my arms around it :-)
Meeting a friend who I haven't seen in awhile for dinner tonight. Need to keep myself focused !

Chris I sure hope your meds work and help you. Not sleeping is so awful.
Karen that was great. And I love catching up with old friends.
The doctor says my foot is mostly just sprained. Tendons are pulled in the ankle and something about a small bond moving and will heal. So happy nothing serious. It still will be awhile before I can go back to full duty. But on the mend.

Shelley - so glad you got good news from the doctor. Make sure you still take it easy though. Those darn feet are always hard to heal :-)
178.2 this morning. I seem to be toying with the same couple of pounds. I can say that my clothes definitely feel looser so that's a good sign :-)
I really want to get to 170 by Christmas. 8 pounds doesn't seem like a lot but every ounces of struggle as you all know :-)

Pat said the new med will take a little while to do it's job. I'll give it two weeks then I'll have to reorder and we'll see what the doc says. Meanwhile I'm going to ask for an exray of my knee. Ugh.
141.0 this morning. No walking affects my weight like crazy. Of course pb and grams don't help either.We are walking this morning...must put on shoes.

Chris, peanut butter and grahms! Oh my. Hey getting an X-Ray sounds great. What about an MRI? Because you are spot on about no walking effecting your weight! It sure makes mine to up. How is that grandson of yours doing?
Karen we can get to our goals of we minus at least 500 - 750 calories out of our daily intake every day. Or increase our calorie burn each day by that amount. Because you are correct, every ounce counts. And I am being easy on my foot.
So today I went to the new terminator. Action packed the whole way. I took a serving of melodies with me. That way I did not eat the whole box.Still keeping my weight under 140.

138 this morning. A group of friends and I went to see Midway yesterday. It should be required watching so we do not forget. I love history. Even read about the history of DNA once. Now I must go learn about popcorn. Which was discovered by accident. And ketchup and other condiments were designed to cover up the taste of rancid meat. Oh my!I

Shelley, let me know what you find out about popcorn. I love it! Chick-a-Boom (sp) Pop has put out their Christmas popcorn...White Chocolate and Peppermint. OH MY!!! I did NOT buy any.
140.2 this morning at 5:30. Must get my s*** together here. I was good yesterday. Egads! the weight is just piling on here because I'm not walking as fast and hard or exercising as hard. Plus, I'm making dumb decisions in the kitchen. **sigh** Okay...fixing my brain here.

Chris, movie popcorn is a no go. But if you still have an air popper that is the best. I did see something about speaking with a doctor if you have gastro issues. Will look that up again. Stay tuned I will report more. Lots of crunchy goodness and vitamins. So talk with your doctor about consuming popcorn regularly. If you are given the go ahead it could potentially be a great way to combat the weight gain.
Busy day. Our customers were nuts today. Screaming and hitting their heads on the walls. One even earned himself an extra 10 days for contempt.

138.4 This morning. My pants are getting loose and I need a new belt to hold them up. I hate buying new clothes. And I am also concerned that if I buy them will I still fit in them later. Or will I just put the weight back on? I have not actually said that to anyone before but I knew you gals would understand.

Thank you Shelly. No snorkeling yet. But it will come. Probably when we go southern Caribbean. I’m enjoying the water so much. Hope it shows on the scale when I return.

138.8 this morning at 5:30. Knee and hip were bothering me this morning so no walking. I hope we walk tomorrow.
We have the boys this morning then I'm going shopping. Must get gingerbread or gingerbread cookies. Ronan has been the Gingerbread Man this morning, so I told him we would have some tomorrow. Hope I can find some.

I can't wait to hear about your first snorkeling adventure. Because it will be an adventure! So proud of you.
Chris I was down to a 138, and then I ate a doughnut. I will have to work it off tonight. You could make some with him. Gingerbread cookies are easy to do. Or ginger snaps. Roll them into little balls. Then in sugar and pop them in the oven. I bet he would love the cooking class.
I am using my Les Mills On Demand subscription more this week. I really want to work on my upper body strength more. My daughter is coming over to see our camper in the morning. It is a new/used one. But in good shape. And we are just planning on parking it up on the mountain for a year or two until we build a cabin.
