Had tea with a friend whose husband also has Alzheimer's, much later stages though. She's much more patient with him than I am with mine. I still tend to think that he's the same as he used to be, so I get impatient when he keeps repeating himself, asking the same questions over and over again, forgetting arrangements etc.; I was better after I'd spoken with my friend. This really helps me to keep on track, as I often take out my frustration in food and wine. UAC and all of you are an enormous help! Off to my Yoga class this morning and healthy breakfast after!4 -
I hit all 3 goals today! @RangerRickL have a wonderful trip to Costa Rica!!2

Have a great time and safe travels!
Today I finally had a good run. I took my time to warm up and stretched before and after, and did 37 minutes of continuous running. It felt like I could have kept going, but I didn't want to push it and risk bumming my ankle again.
I'm a yes x3 for today.3 -

I'm experimenting with intermittent fasting this week. Yesterday I fasted during breakfast, today fasted during dinner, plus no snacks after 6:30 P.M. I think skipping dinner will be easier for me.

I want to clarify my own comment above. By "skipping dinner" I don't mean starving myself. I still plan to eat 1200 calories a day, plus some of my exercise calories -- but in an 8-hour window. That 8-hour structure means no random snacking, which is a big benefit, since many of those calories can add up to a meal or more.
