Pass day 3! I still have faith I can finish the month without any more passes. I walked my dogs today and I'm honestly fine on calories looking at it weekly, but I put on a Christmas party for my youth at church and besides pizza I just grazed and had to majorly guesstimate my logging. I could've done much better by fixing a plate and seeing it all at once vs grazing. So pass day 3 but not worried. I'm still losing 2 pounds a week and I'm only 3 pounds away from my goal of hitting the healthy BMI by year end.5

@Christine4695 Dearest Christine,
Your father and family are your highest priority. The UAC and other goals are insignificant at a time like this.
Best wishes, Rick0 -
Pass day for me:
3 hours with the exercise physiologist. She is licensed in massage therapy; personal training; and certified by a number of different organizations. Her focus is functional movement. She gave me a book entitled "Treat Your Own Back" by the late Robert McKenzie, of New Zealand. His McKenzie Method is distinctively different than chiropractic in that his focus is on helping the patient to commit to stretching exercises that will get the fascia and muscles to be prepared for movement. By actively focusing on specific exercises, the body will move fluidly when it is asked to exert.
Tomorrow, I'll be back at the chiropractor for a follow up adjustment. I will be reading the McKenzie book tonight.
@craigo3154 I am going to save your post of today in my "Great Posts of the UAC' archive. Thanks, Rick4 -

I need to get my DH to read "Treat Your Own Neck" by the same author. He was just at the spine center yesterday for a cervical spine issue. He already had back surgery in 2004 and neck surgery in 2005 for spinal stenosis. Not looking at surgery, again, at this point... but has been referred for physical therapy which commences Monday.
Hope our UAC leader finds relief soon. Best wishes with your progress, Rick.2 -

So today was the day.....knew it was coming, but didn’t know when. Things were still salvageable up until about 5 and then my wife brings home pizza. Now I haven’t had pizza in about 3 months so I make the conscious decision to have some and after about the second piece I knew this was pass day number one. So 2 calories or 2000 over still counts the same. I also decided to partake of some of the other things I haven’t had in 3 months either like ice cream, chips etc. Tomorrow is a new day and back to the program.5 -
