    Tracked stayed under, logged and walked over a mile at lunch slow with the knee oa but got it done weight coming down from holiday hope to keep it off for Christmas

    Hello all!

    Lots of food around me today.
    As predicted, I went over my daily goal (by 226 calories) today.
    Calories earned with exercise today: 404 cal.
    Net +178 calories.
    I have not eaten all the exercise calories I banked all week.

    Pass day for me:
    3 hours with the exercise physiologist. She is licensed in massage therapy; personal training; and certified by a number of different organizations. Her focus is functional movement. She gave me a book entitled "Treat Your Own Back" by the late Robert McKenzie, of New Zealand. His McKenzie Method is distinctively different than chiropractic in that his focus is on helping the patient to commit to stretching exercises that will get the fascia and muscles to be prepared for movement. By actively focusing on specific exercises, the body will move fluidly when it is asked to exert.
    Tomorrow, I'll be back at the chiropractor for a follow up adjustment. I will be reading the McKenzie book tonight.

    She gave me a book entitled "Treat Your Own Back" by the late Robert McKenzie, of New Zealand.

    I need to get my DH to read "Treat Your Own Neck" by the same author. He was just at the spine center yesterday for a cervical spine issue. He already had back surgery in 2004 and neck surgery in 2005 for spinal stenosis. Not looking at surgery, again, at this point... but has been referred for physical therapy which commences Monday.

    w8goal4life I just ordered the neck book too. Go to www.optp.com the book is very inexpensive. I have not had cervical issues, but I decided that I wanted to read the book.

    Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? YES (25 min outdoor walk)

    Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? NO :'( Went out to eat with hubby, sister and a friend. Had a nice time but didn't exercise enough to stay under calories.

    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? YES
