Well, that's surprising...I couldn't count my calories all week because I don't have really any food at the house and I started my period yesterday! So, I'll definitely take this loss!

An update on what's been going on...I got scammed by a guy I thought I could trust and he took all of my money, that's why have no food now, luckily I had a $50 Amazon gift card and was able to buy dog food for my baby's!

I made a FB post about him and it has over 200 shares and 300 comments. He has warrants out for his arrest and he has screwed so MANY people over and done very sick, twisted things! Stabbed his self in an attempt to get another guy for attempted murder, tried to get someone to rape his GF so he couls watch, killed his own dogs to try and blame someone else for it, poisoned his GFs dog, stolen tons kf money from lots of different people, lied about everything and gets people to feel really sorry for him, abused his GFs, abused their kids and the list goes on and on!! He really NEEDS to be caught and taken down!

Me and several of his other victims have thought about using me as bait to go meet him while they all hide behind me and then jump out so we can catch him, or I go and take the police with me...BUT I'm too afraid cahse what if he stabs me before anyone can get to us or pulls out a gun...He's DONE a little bit of everhthing so I wouldn't hold it past him to do anything like that!! Just want him to be caught so bad! 😔

    Water on target
Exercise 40 min indoor bike, 60 min swim

@Cafelelia the good news is that women "only" have to carry 20kg. I am working with a coach he has created a programme for me.

Getting back to traininng felt great today. Friends from tri club are putting in for a relay event. I have signed up to join a team.

@sleepymom5 we have a crazy weather here. The last few days it's been 70 degrees. That's why we went for the hike. Everything is now melting but it's going to start getting cold again. It felt like spring but now we will go back to winter.

I did really good at the beginning of the week and trailed off at the end, not sure why. Hopefully this will be a better week.

    Daily Check In: Saturday
    Food: Way... too... much :(
    Water: Good
Exercise & steps: JessicaSmithTV 30 minute strength training video, shoveled snow, walked dogs; 10,292 steps

Good news - water and exercise were on track; bad news - too much pizza and adult beverages. Niners played a great game and are headed to the NFC Championship. Been a long drought for us SF Forty-Niner fans since we've been able to celebrate. Talked to my dad several times on the phone during the game... fun day! I cannot be trusted around pizza as I have zero restraint. Since cleaning up my diet, my system doesn't tolerate all the grease and sodium or overeating like I could back in the day. Sore again today from yesterday's strength training so trying to up my water intake. Working on the week's meal plan. Need to clean up my diet ASAP or January is going to be a bummer of a month for me. Tomorrow is yoga class and grocery shopping.

A former Weight No More teammate one said "Summer bodies are made in winter". I've been thinking about that again a lot lately. No time to waste.

How's everyone preparing for a successful week? Week 2 is here already!

    Saturday 1/11 check in
    Food: logged and on track
    Water: 80 oz
    Exercise: none

I slept really well until 4:30AM, then woke to use the bathroom and then couldn't get back to sleep. Finally got up at 5:30 and did some laundry. I was tired later in the day so I slept quite a while in the afternoon.

I think I'm more nervous about the colonscopy and endoscopy than I thought. I spent too much time thinking about it and looking things up. Some is good information, some is not. I know I shouldn't think about it or look things up because it isn't helpful or good for me. What I should have done is read all of the posts here, which would have been much more helpful. I know it's going to take me a long time to get through them all. I know it's just the unknown of the tests and not having symptoms, even though the doctor told me I'm constantly bleeding somewhere.

    Sunday 1/12 check in
    Food: logged and on track
    Water: 80 oz
Exercise: 45 minutes low intensity at home

I slept really well until 3 AM, woke to use the bathroom, then couldn't get back to sleep. Got up at 3:30, did some laundry and exercised while the laundry was going.

After church I had lunch and then slept for the afternoon so I can stay awake for work tonight.

The storm that was predicted wasn't as bad as they thought. I didn't lose power but the news did say there were about 3,000 people who did. There was a lot of rain, some ice and snow but not as much of either as they thought.

Hope everyone has a good night.

    Sunday 1/12 check in
    Food: :/
    Water: over 64 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes stationary bike, Pt, strength and stretching

I really have to get more consistent with logging. I didn't do that great today. I didn't follow my plan. I did get exercise and water in. Tomorrow I have a lunch date and then we are going to a friends house to take her Christmas decorations down. I already looked at the menu so I know what I am getting. I also plan to workout before I leave. I won't have too long to check in, that is why I am checking in now. Let's have a great week everyone!

@Cafelelia Thanks for the information about the watch. I guess it should be pushing me but that is frustrating. Lol! The bar does have some healthy menu items and I am good for the most part ordering that. It is just I need to not drink every time I am there. I also need to start going right to bed when I get home from drinking....Ugh! Lol!
@pacsnc6 Thanks for sharing about the watch. I am a little frustrated lol! Mine is waterproof but I don't think I would wear it in a pool anyway. It is a little too expensive to take a chance.
@dillyg08 That's not too bad of a gain over vacation! Get right back on track this week, I bet it will come right off. Hope you had fun!
@CassieGetsFit2013 Nice loss and it would probably be more if it wasn't your TOM! I hope that guy gets caught and your money is returned to you. It is sad there are people out there who take advantage of people's good nature. Please be careful and let the police take care of things.
@amsandos What a great day you had-amazing workouts! I am glad you are feeling better.
@lburch A loss during vacation is a win in my book! Great job! Hope you had a great vacation!
@txmama63 Nice loss! You are so consistent! No wonder you are so successful!
@ljdanny I have been doing the same thing. Let's have a great week!
@nstephenson01 Congrats to the 49ers! That is exciting. Did you ever try to have salad with pizza? Since I have been having salad first, I don't eat more than two pieces. I love pizza too. I can't believe we are almost 1/2 way through January, I need to get more consistent if I want to see a loss for the month too. And that is right, summer bodies are made in the winter. Let's do this!
@tryingagain5 Two interrupted nights of sleep. Hope the nap helped to get you through work. I hope being back at work helps you get a good nights sleep tonight. I can understand why you would be worried about the colonoscopy. What are you worried about specifically? The prep is just unpleasant. You will get through it but it was the worst part for me. The test was fine, I was asleep for it. I guess you could be worried about what they find. Just remember, it is better to know what is wrong so it can be treated. The sooner the better. I know that won't make you less anxious about getting it done but it is a good thing to get these tests. Hugs! Hope you are having a good night and I am glad the storm wasn't as bad as they thought.
@twyla77 A pretty good week?! Looks like you had a great week! Awesome loss! Hope you have a great week this week too.

    @sleepymom5
The long nap did help me get through work last night and I will be going to bed soon
and hopefully will sleep well today.

I don't think it's the colonscopy prep that's bothering me. I think what's making me anxious is what they might find and that I was told I was "constantly bleeding." I should have asked my doctor what that meant. I don't understand how I could be constantly bleeding without any symptoms, other than being more tired than normal.

It will be a colonoscopy and endoscopy both done on the same day. I will be asleep for both so that will help.

Thanks. I will get through it ok, it sometimes just takes me a while to process. I'll just have to keep my mind occupied with other things.

    Sunday check in

Food - Did not log, but I did follow my plan!
    Exercise - 7020 steps
    Water - 1.5 l

Happy Monday everyone! My weekend was so crazy as my husband was away. I had to take the boys to 5 different hockey arenas between the two of them. That weird rain storm made itchallenging, particularly early Sunday morning, when I everything froze and I had to chip the ice off my car door to open it! I did manage to get my food planning and prep done on Saturday night but I have some catchong up to do today with everything else. I am determined to get of self care in where I can today.

Beka forgot to mention our team in the Going Green challenge! We were 60% green, so way to go team!

@tryingagain5 - I know that the doctor’s terminology was worrisome and it is natural that you will be worried leading up to these tests. It is one to feel those emotions. Try your best to keep your routine and get the best sleep that you can. Talking with a family member or friend can be helpful too. Sometimes herbal teas can help with that, particularly if you wake up mid sleep. I am praying for you during this stressful time.

    @JillyBT - Nice day yesterday!

@sleepymom5 - You are being so consistent with your workouts! I am using you as my inspiration for the rest of this month! Listen, if my husband owned a bar, I am not sure I could resist glasses of wine or Prosecco whenever I went there! It is a tough one. My husband does collect wine and has a pretty big collection, so that is the temptation that I need to avoid quite regularly. I try to limit drinking to Saturday only, but it is hard when we have guests.

@twyla77 - Fantastic loss and you are doing great!

@nstephenson01 - I love that quote about summer bodies, it is so true!

@ljdaynny - hope that you are having a good day today!

@txmama63 - Fantastic loss and I recall from your wall that this puts you at 100 lbs lost! Congratulations and what an achievement!!

@lburch - Hey, a loss is a loss! Losing on vacation is an accomplishment!

@amsandos - Great day and looks like you are feeling better! Having to carry “only” 20kg of coal is no comfort. It is like racing while carrying a 6 or 7 year old child!

@Cassiegetsfit2013 - Another loss! You seems to be doing really well with WW? Are you still doing it! Sorry that you got scammed. Your did the right thing reporting him and law enforcement will take care of it.

@dillyg08 - No need to every apologize. We all have gains and losses! The main thing is that you took vacation, which is such a nice thing to do. Now that you are back, you can get back to your routine again this week.

    Daily Check In: Sunday
    Food: Didn't log, over
    Water: Good
Exercise & steps: 45 minute dog walk; 10,864 steps

Saw a number on the scale this morning I haven't seen in awhile :( Time to buckle down, get back to logging and stop winging it. Its too easy to cheat when its not logged. No yoga or grocery shopping today as we got too much snow overnight. It will take a while to dig out.
Exercise today will be shoveling snow :/ Need to rearrange my meal plan... hopefully can get to the grocery store tomorrow. Also need to get back to making my 24 hour plan.

I'm a Fitbit girl but was considering an Apple watch. Its interesting what you all are saying about exercises. Thinking I'll stick with my Fitbit for now.

Wishing everyone a great start to the week!

@twyla77 Fantastic loss! You had a great week!!

@tryingagain5 I would have a hard time not worrying as well. What you said about keeping your mind occupied on other things is key.

@Cafelelia Phew your crazy weekend is over. Take a minute to breath and relax

@sleepymom5 Seems we're stuck in the same pattern. Let's make this week better!

@JillyBT Nice loss! I hear that TRX workout is awesome. You have been doing so well since you started here!
@brown6267 Your step total last week was over 90K! Awesome!
@tryingagain5 There is a lot to think about before a test. Just try to remember, what ever the results, it is better you know and can be treated. I am glad that they were able schedule you sooner rather than later. You are right, you will get through it but it is natural to be concerned. Hugs!
@Cafelelia I am actually putting an effort in with the exercise. That is why it is so important that it shows up on my watch Lol! I need to get back into a routine with everything. So far water and exercise has stuck. This week I am getting back to planning. That's what always seems to keep me on track. I also have to get back to prepping for the week . you are always so consistent with that.
@jedaschultz Nice loss! I like all the planning you are doing. It makes things easier than trying to decide last minute. I never liked to drink water and now I love it. Maybe the same will happen for you.
@nstephenson01 We are in the same pattern Lol! Let's switch it up this week. I will be your test person for the apple watch Lol! Don't make any decisions before asking me ;) . I like it but there are a few things I don't. My daughter made it sound like the watch gets used to you. I am supposed to keep my phone around in the beginning? We will see.

@sleepymom5 I serve the pudding shots from the freezer. They never really freeze like ice cream, I guess from the alcohol. You can either leave them in the freezer or put them in the freezer for an hour or so to set & then keep them in the fridge. Either way they are so good!!!

Hello all! Hope you are off to a good start as we begin a new week!

    1/12/20 check-in:
Food: Logged - a little over
    Water: not enough
    Steps:14,934

I am feeling good! I has a very busy weekend, all fun, but busy. I tried to do well with my eating. Friday, we went to my friend's for a small get together. We had lots of healthy options, but I did overeat. I felt so full by the end of the night, I hate that. Saturday, I met my friend at a restaurant. They had different types of food, but very good. We had cauliflower fritters with a beet aioli, veggie sliders made from chick peas & quinoa, & I had a beet salad with goat cheese, mixed greens, candied walnuts with a balsamic glaze. It was really good & light! I felt satisfied, but not stuffed. Yesterday I wound up going with my hubby, son & sister in law to a NJ Devils hockey game. I had a slice of pizza at the arena & popcorn. I did not get a workout in over the weekend, but I always get in lots of steps.

Tonight I am going out with the girls for some apps. Another night I will miss my workout. The rest of the week I should be able to stay on-point with my food & workouts. My birthday is Saturday, so I will probably be celebrating all weekend, but I will try to work my food choices around my plans, and get workouts in as well. I am taking it day by day, it seems to be working. I have also been following 16:8 IF which is helping.

I usually concentrate on losing as quickly as possible by being super strict. I lose the weight, but as soon as I go off, the pounds come back on. I am trying to remember this is a lifestyle and I want to be able to enjoy myself and still be able to maintain when I get back to my goal weight.

@CassieGetsFit2013 that is awful that you got taken advantage of by that guy! I hope they find him!! Good luck & stay safe!

@sleepymom5 let me know how the pudding shots come out.

@tryingagain5 good luck with your tests! I hope they find the problem & it is nothing serious!

@Mrsbell8well you were very productive in the middle of the night. I would have laid in bed, watching tv, being aggravated I could not sleep, lol

Have a wonderful day & week!

Great job team members and your wonderful success stories! For those that are struggling...keep on logging. Timing is crucial. There are times in our lives when we have had enough and need to take action. Keep logging, posting and exploring. It will come.
We went to the funeral yesterday and took Lula mae and Skylynn for a walk. It was hard to pull myself away from food prepping. I also got in my yoga. My daughter is currently in Rome eating pasta cabonara and drinking red wine with her boyfriend. How wonderful! I had to take Skylynn to school today. 1 1/2 hours round trip early this morning. I am feeling it. Dragging a bit today. All my food is prepped for the week. It feels so nurturing to be so prepared. My water is on track today as well. I plan to start rowing again tonight and running tomorrow. I didn't get the bathrooms or the planner done but I was happy with all that I was able to accomplish. More soon.

@sleepymom5 I buy most of my stuff locally but things I can't find I do order on line. I am a complicated shopper. I start at Walmart, then the local co-op, then Martins (the nicer grocery store), sometimes the farmers market and sometimes one more store if I can't find what I need.
I am doing a 3 week Dr. Gundry Lectin free plan that is supposed to help heal your gut. I have to eat 1 avocado a day, lots of nuts and oils. And no fruit! Not at all the type of plan that I would choose but I was researching the gut issue and decided I could do 3 weeks and then tweak into something that is best for me. Needless to say it is gluten free as well. I prepped lots and lots yesterday. Made a sage and mushroom soup that is sooooo good.
Breakfast this morning was a smoothie with romaine lettuce, fresh ginger, fresh mint, 1/2 avocado, coconut milk, vanilla stevia, and 1/4 lemon squeezed into it. It wasn't too bad but my stomach did feel a bit queasy from so much fat. It goes in phases. I am on phase 1 which is the most restrictive.
I did have to order grain free tempeh and am looking for millet.

Food: logged and over but with my workout today, it's probably pretty close to my upper limit range
    Water: 64 oz
Exercise: 30 minute very intense workout with my trainer.

I slept really well today until I got a phone call from the hospital that is going to do the tests. I didn't wake up at all until I got the phone call. They called right before I was planning on getting up so they really didn't interrupt my sleep. Normally I turn my phone off when I'm sleeping but I knew they would be calling sometime this week with the time and other things I needed to know. I asked them some questions and feel a lot better about it.
I was pretty busy today so I didn't have time to think about it and that helped too.

After the gym I went to the Make and Take workshop that the local hospital is doing this month. Today was Mason jar salads. We made 4 different kinds. There was an apple/blackberry, a southwestern, one with chickpeas and lots of vegetables and a 4th one. I can't remember what was in that one but there were lots of vegetables. We also got a recipe list of different homemade salad dressings and lots of other recipes of various meals. I think I will probably try most of them. Last week was overnight oats, those were all very good and very filling. One was apples and cinnamon, one with bananas, one with strawberries and Greek yogurt and one with peanut butter and peanuts. We also got a sheet with different recipes to try. I plan on making them every week. I was signed up to go next week too but since I'm having the tests at noon and I was told to expect to be at the hospital around 3 or so hours from start to recovery, I'm pretty sure I"ll miss it.

Now I have to go to work. Hope everyone has a great night.

    1/13/20 check-in:
Food: not logged but on target
    Water: over 64 oz
    Exercise-15 min walk

I actually had to get my Christmas trees down quick as the township collects them today. The next collection isn't for 2 weeks and that would be too long. By the time I cleaned up from that it was time to get ready to go to my friends to help her take her decorations down. I did do a lot of running around but I didn't really exercise. I did well with eating. That's about it. I am tired so I am heading off to bed. I have a lot to do this week so I want to be sure to get my sleep in.

@kirsten11872 For having so much going on, you made healthy choices this weekend. Sometimes how we feel after overeating is a good reminder of why we shouldn't over eat. I really hate that feeling too. I also agree with making this a lifestyle. I have lost and regained so many times because I didn't make it a lifestyle change.
@Mrsbell8well How nice that you are watching Skylynn while Robin is in Italy. I hope she is having a great time. Sounds like you are off to a good start on your cleanse. Hopefully tomorrows will be a little more agreeable for your stomach.
@amsandos It is so easy to go over in calories. I can surely relate to that. Sounds like your exercise is on target. I am not a great cook as you already know but I do love the crock pot. So easy! I do have to tell you, when I was in London, I think breakfast was my favorite meal! Yum! Let me know how you make out with making it in the crock pot.
@dillyg08 I am with you! I will do the same! :)
@tryingagain5 I was about to finish up here and decided to refresh the page one last time to see if you posted yet lol! I am glad I waited. I am to hear that you usually keep the phone off when you are sleeping. I always did. At least they didn't interrupt your sleep too much. I love the make and take workshop idea. So far I would like to try both the oatmeal and salads. I had a co worker who always made her own salad dressing. She said once you make your own, you can't go back to bottled dressing. You will have to share what recipes you like when you try them. Hope you have a good night at work.

We are almost 1/2 way through January and sometimes this is when our motivation from the New Year starts to diminish. (Unless you are me and I am still trying to get back into my routine :s ) Let's keep going strong Team Weight No More!!
