Dear team, your pictures have me oooohing and ahhhing, laughing and smiling. Your posts and successes have me beaming with pride! What an amazing group! Those that struggle and experience sorrow my heart is with you. My life has been non-stop action. I have done extremely well with exercise, water, nutrition, and sleep. Today is dedicated to my planner. We’re at the country house. My meals are already packed and ready for this 3 day weekend. Not an easy task. I usually cook a lot for everyone when I’m here but not this time. I’m staying on plan and relaxing.
@sleepymom5 and all others thank you for taking time to support me with your words and comments. It means a great deal to me. I’m now briefly posting on Facebook group too. But your all my homies.
Day 7 on Dr. G. Down 5 pounds. Never hungry. This plan is not for everyone. Lots of prep and too much fat. But my gut, gas/bloatyness, BM’s, seem to be calming down and regulating. Which was my whole purpose of doing this. The recipes are actually quite delicious. And having things so prepped is wonderful!
So onward to week 2.
My next priorities are my planner, clean the house, time with my wife and more organized with work. Work has really been exciting.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend. Still plenty of time for January success!

Saturday 1/18 check in
Food: was great until late night...
Water: at least 80 oz
Exercise: 30 stationary bike, PT, strength and stretching.
I had such a good day and then ruined it at like midnight or after. We have been binge watching Chicago PD. I was really hungry but should have gotten a drink or went to bed but ended up having cereal and chocolate. I got rid of the chocolate but MK brought some down that she had gotten in her stocking. No reason today shouldn't be a good day. I have all my food here, I have time to workout so no excuses. Mary Kate was planning to go back to school today but we just noticed she doesn't have class tomorrow because of MLK holiday. If she wants to still go back, that is the only reason I need to leave the house today. I also want to plan the week out. I want to get back in the routine of having dinners. I know this sounds weird but we go out so much or just order out. I need to get used to cooking for just two or three. Back in the day, it was always for 7. Time to get moving. I hope everyone has a fantastic end to the weekend!
@pacsnc6 I don't know how I missed your post from yesterday. I am sorry to hear about your back. I am glad that the x ray didn't show a fracture. I hope with the medicine you will feel some relief. Hopefully you have pain because you just aggravated something by slipping and in time you will be back to normal. I think that water aerobics would be a good exercise to do as it is basically non impact. Just listen to your body. Hugs!
@kirsten11872 I missed some posts from yesterday. Not a bad weigh in, that is basically a maintain. Happy Belated Birthday too! Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
@brown6267 I missed one of your posts from yesterday. You are getting close to goal. I am glad that you are thinking about maintenance and already have a plan. This time you seem to have the knowledge to be successful at maintenance.
@Cafelelia I missed your post AND all the people above yesterday! I usually hit refresh before I post so Idk what I did. Thanks for all the information. I love how F2F is doing new things that involve all the teams.
@GingerPwr Although you didn't do any formal exercise, you had a very active day! When I play ping pong I am usually chasing around the balls I missed lol! Sounds like you had a good day! Keep it up!
@JillyBT You just keep having one good day after another! I need to start following your lead!
@Mrsbell8well Thank you! I get a lot of support and learn so much on here. We are a wonderful team! What a nice weekend to be at the country house! Did you get snow in either spot? You are south of me but seem to get snow more often. I am guessing because you are at a higher elevation. I know you weren't feeling the best GI wise when you started, sounds like that is all behind you now. I know that was the plan when you started it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
@33sandy1223 Nice loss! How are things going?
@lennoncpa Thanks for sharing. I waste more food than I should. They have some good tips in there too.

Sunday is the perfect time to plan your week and do any food prep that may need to be done. On Sundays people tend to be refreshed and renewed by Thursday (or before) that feeling has passed. Take the time today to make your week easier, believe me, your Thursday self will thank you!4 -
@GingerPwr
Ice skating, ping pong, housework are all great exercises. did you do some stretching before or after? Bet it felt good to do all the fun activities.1 -

Week 3
Weigh In Day: Sunday Jan 19
Previous Weight: 132.4
Today’s Weight: 133.0
Wow! I’m so happy to see that I was 1st place! That’s my first time! I had another pretty good week sticking to my calories and eating my meal prepped lunches instead of going out to eat...I’m a little nervous about my upcoming week as we’re heading to the mountains for a ‘team building’ retreat on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday so we’ll be drinking and eating a bit more than usual...but I’m packing healthy snacks and making sure to take my favourite water bottle lol.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!6 -

Saturday check in
Food - logged & on target
Exercise - another rest day due to storm!
Water - 2l
We got a ton of snow yesterday and it was nice to stay indoors with the family. We are going away to Sint Maarten on Saturday and I managed to pack me & the boys yesterday. It was so much fun packing summer clothes during a snow storm! I had a great NSV as all of my summer and beach things fit nicely due to my weight loss. I have a really busy week coming up, and the evening schedule is particularly crazy. So my prep today it more just planning & washing veggies as most suppers will be on the go.
I second Pam’s congratulations to @twyla77, @freeglerock, @txmama63 & @33sandy1223! Congrats to the entire team for doing so well in Week 2! Here’s to a fantastic Week 3!!
I have to head out to another hockey arena in a few hours, but for now, I have a mug of coffee & am wearing my warm slippers!

@twyla77 I am afraid I am going to miss you if I wait to respond later lol! I know you have awesome team building trips with your company If I remember correctly, you had one trip after another last year and did well while you were away. Be sure to make a realistic plan and include things that you know you enjoyed on past trips. You can still have fun and stay on plan. Most of all, enjoy!!1

Well, that is really surprising! I thought I was gonna gain 3 to 5lbs this week! I didn't count my calories at all, I haven't had any food for me to count them, lol. My SNAP/EBT was cancelled cause the guy never called me back to reschedule our meeting so I am trying to get a hold of him to fix that...And in the beginning of the month, I spent all my disability money on a scammer, lol. I've been eating sweets, junk and whatever little thing here and there that my Aunt buys for me...I've had several friends say they were gonna send me money or buy me some groceries, but nobody ever has...I'm okay with that because I really don't take well to handouts because I like helping others rather than receiving help, but don't like when somebody says they're going to help you then they don't. Anyway, my Birthday is the 27th of this month and I'll be going out to eat then so I'm looking forward to that and then once next month is here, I should be able to go get some groceries! Hoping I can get my EBT back so it'll help me out in that department!
Still trying to get in to see my Dr. To go over several problems. My HR and BP was high again last night, that is the main thing I need to discuss with her and she will most likely put me back on BP meds. Another issue involving having are really crazy dreams and a lot of them...I was having very bad nightmares and when I was in Rehab they got so bad so my Dr. Put me on PTSD medication that can help with nightmares...It seemes to work! Buuuut, ever since going on it, instead of the usual 3-4 dreams, I'm having 6-8 and they're A LOT crazier now...They wake me up throughout the night, I toss and turn more, when they wake me up, I can't go back to sleep right away, I seem to never want to wake up in the morning. Even though I go to bed really late, I sleep in really late so sometimes I'm still getting 10-12 hours of sleep...(Yeah, I REALLY need to work on my sleep schedule!) But no matter how many hours of sleep I'm getting, I still feel exhausted when I wake up and I think it's because of all these crazy dreams I'm having! They also bother me when I'm awake because the images are still in my mind because I usually can describe my dreams in so much detail so they usually stick around for a while...I'm thinking I should talk to my Dr. About this, just not sure what the problem could be or what can treat it. 😔

Love this @sleepymom5! Great reminder!
I am having a whopper of a week and haven't posted in a few days because I'm trying to refrain from whining about it. Next week doesn't look to be much better. Big congrats to @twyla77, @Freeglerock, @txmama63 and @33sandy1223 on your success! Its so inspiring to hop on here and be reminded that despite what life throws at us, there is potential to excel. WTG Ladies!! We have such a terrific Team!!2 -
1/19 check in
Food: liquid diet for colonscopy so I'm not tracking
Water: 80 oz
Exercise: 30 minutes low intensity at home
I was in bed by 8:30 last night and then woke at 11:30 and again at 3:30 to use the bathroom. I got up shortly after 6. We got several inches of snow again last night.
The plow company was out sometime earlier in the night. I only know that because I heard the noise of the plow hitting the driveway. It snowed quite a bit after they plowed so I went out and shoveled about 2 inches before I went to church. It started snowing again shortly before I left and it snowed a lot. I had to shovel again when I got home, probably another inch or so. It was the light, fluffy kind so it was much easier to shovel than yesterday.
I started with the colonscopy prep this afternoon. Had to take 4 dulcolax at 3, then the Suprep mixture at 5. At 9 I have to take 2 Gas-X and at 10 I have to take 2 more Gas-X. Hopefully I will get some rest tonight. Tomorrow I have to take the other bottle of the Suprep 5 hours before the procedure and can continue with clear liquids but have to stop with that by 7:30. I have to be at the hospital by 10:30 and the procedures will start at 11:30.
Thank you to those who have been praying for me and thinking about me. I'm much more calm about it now. Posting about it here and talking to neighbors and friends has helped me a lot.
Hope everyone enjoys their evening!5 -

I have no steps for yesterday I sat on the couch and binge watched general hospital, lol. We got a few inches of snow so after zumba today I spent the morning shoveling. I was pooped. Planning my week so hopefully i will have a loss. I pinched a nerve in my hip it hurts to do much, surprised I made it through zumba.3 -
