That is a great weight. Triceps are tough for me also. And I have been using around the same weight.

Weight lifting today. Oh and no work. A snow day was called. It has been snowing all day. No unnecessary driving. Roads are closed in and out of Casper also. So stay home. Didn't have to tell me twice. Hot tea and a good book.

Way to spend the day, Shelley!! We had crazy cold wind here for the past two days. Bean doesn't like going out in it. He doesn't like the trees moving around and leaves blowing across the yard. Poor guy.
Worked out w/our trainer for 60 mins. Egads!!

Chris you are hilarious! I hit the wrong key. It was a rest day. So no pretty holster or gun. Just boring midnight black. Got up early and did 40 minutes of weight lifting. Push-ups are getting a tiny bit easier. Should never have quit them.

60 mins w/our trainer this morning. I agree with you, Shelley. I had to quit everything and getting back to where I was is hard, but WE WILL GET THERE!!!

Did 18 minutes of triceps and biceps. Burned them up. Going to do a new to me 40 minute upper body Lee Mills tomorrow. Have it all set up for me. #106

First day at the gym. I did their 30 minute workout on the machines. 10 minute stretching after, then 30 minutes on the treadmill. So far so good. Going to stay off the scale for a week. I want to see progress and will weigh in next Wednesday. This is at the trainer’s suggestion. I think Planet Fitness is going to work for me. Especially the strength training machines which I really need for toning. I’m focused and plan to go at least 5-6 days a week until spring tennis starts. I’m also going to take more swimming lessons in March....I discovered I really missed it. I can afford the lessons because PF costs are so reasonable.

Did about 20 minutes of upper arms today. And a little over 10,000 steps.

30 minute strength training workout. Then 45 minutes on treadmill.
Shelley I’m setting half the machines at 15 lbs and the other at 30. I’m shocked I’ve been using 5lb free weights at home. Going to try and push myself.
Trying something different tomorrow. I like the fact I can complete a full body workout and then get some cardio in as well.
Can’t wait to get back to the swim center in March. They are fully booked right now.

Kathy that is the same reason I love Body Pump. Some of them have cardio also. But I can get it all done at once. Last night I did a 40 minute Upper Body workout. Lots of push-ups, moving ones also. Bench work. And several others. I use free weights, weight plates and bar for resistance. I think my bar weighs around 6 pounds and then I add as many plates as I want. Each exercise is around 5 minutes so you don't want to go to heavy, so I add around 15 - 20 pounds to the bar. Slowly increasing it.
I was always wondering why a woman as active as yourself was only using 5 pounds.I knew you were stronger than that. You got this Kathy.

I completed an upper body workout, then an abs workout then 30 minutes on the treadmill. I plan to workout on Saturday then have a break on Sunday because I have a wedding to attend.

Not a great week for excercise... in meetings at work from 7-6pm and then dinners after....but did eat pretty well

Karen I did it backwards then. Lots of exercise and poor eating! Hahaha. Let's get it right next week.
Got in a nice walk with the dogs this morning. It was a cold and windy day. The wind makes Barney nervous. Then 40 minutes of upper body strength training.

I had a short workout today 30 minutes on the Treadmill. Tired from the wedding which was beautiful and a lot of fun! My 83 year year old Mom stole the show dancing with my young cousin. As the say “she’s gone viral”.
Also woke up with conjunctivitis...that’s right good ole pink eye. Went to the doctor and got drops. Hope it clears up by the end of the week.

Worked out w/our trainer Monday and today for 60 mins each day. It's all upper body except for the half balance ball. She doesn't want to aggravate my hip.
Gotta go now. Must read.

Our trainer had to switch our workout to tomorrow. She is having something installed in her garage for her house and all her exercise equipment is stacked on one side...pretty funny picture with her tiny dog sitting in the middle of the floor in front of the wall stacked with the equipment. So cute!
Maybe we'll get the car washed today...maybe.
